I purchased this product due to moderate - severe back pain (left over remnants from the Marines). The current mattress I have is still good, but with my back getting progressively worse each year, I needed some sort of relief as it was taking me more and more time each morning to wind up a bit before I was fully mobile. I've slept on memory foam mattresses before as well as toppers. They were okay, but nothing that made me want to go out and purchase a similar product. Another colleague (former Marine as well) stated that his back pain (in the morning) has almost disappeared since he bought the TEMPUR-Topper Supreme. I did a quick search after speaking with him and found a too-good-to-pass-up price via Amazon (other sites to include TEMPUR-PEDIC had this going for $399.00 - queen size) so I bit the bullet and purchased it with the option of being able to return it if it didn't measure up. So, it came secured in 3 separate boxes. The original, another around that one, and then an Amazon shipping box. No damage or issues with delivery. It arrived 2 days after ordering it (Prime). Opening and unwrapping went well with no issues and the mattress topper was without any discrepancies (tears, stains, etc.). No odor whatsoever. I have been around new memory foam before, and this topper had no strong smell at all. I still gave it time to expand and air out (it comes wrapped / rolled up). After a few hours, I put it on the bed. My current mattress is a bit thicker than normal (plush hybrid) so I use deep pocket sheets. I wasn't sure if the additional 3 inches of memory foam would be an issue with size and fit of the sheets. While it is a bit tight, everything still fit and the sheets stayed down / didn't roll up at night. I gave this product 4 stars out of 5 because this topper still sleeps a bit hot (if I could give it 4.5 I would). Not piping hot, or where you're drenched in sweat hot, but a bit warm. That is a better description. Not hot, but warm. I normally run hot anyway, so this was a concern for me, but the pain in my back takes precedence over that so I gave it a shot. I'm very glad I did. I wouldn't say this took ALL the pain in my back away, but getting up in the morning is about 85% easier and with less issues / pain than before. So that to me is a major plus and solidifies this as a good buy. If they had a product like this that kept cool or did not generate any heat at all, I would give it 5 stars no problem. I would recommend this product to others who are looking to relieve whatever pain (neck, back, hip, etc.) they may have while sleeping or those just looking to refresh their current mattress with a updated fit / feel. *** UPDATE 1/22/2019 *** So, I've slept on this topper the past year and can honestly say that this has helped lessen the pain and discomfort I experienced every single morning prior to making this purchase. I have also changed my rating of 4 stars to 5 as the topper does not sleep as warm as it initially did in the beginning. I'm not sure if that is from my body getting used to the topper and regulating my internal temperature, the topper airing out after a few weeks of use and better circulation getting through the material, or a little bit of both. Either way, I actually look forward to going to bed each night and enjoying a comfortable nights rest. This memory foam mattress topper is very comfortable and absolutely worth the money. I'm currently sleeping on a cheap twin bed with a terrible mattress that was actually painful to lie on. As someone older, the last thing I need is more back issues, so I bought this for added comfort since I can’t afford a new mattress right now—and it’s perfect! It’s soft, soothing, and was easy to adjust once it expanded to the right size. There was no odor at all, and the built-in straps help keep it securely in place. This isn’t the cooling version, so it might feel warm in a hot room, but I use fans and it works fine. It is not waterproof so be careful if you are using this for kids. Hi guys, just wanted to give you guys a warning that the tempur-topper supremes are no longer high quality memory foam but they are still being sold for the same price and under the same name. We bought two toppers in May / June 2021 and liked the feel of them so purchased another in October. The one that came in October was nothing like the first two, it had no "sinking" feeling at all and the structure of the foam was much more porous and light. If you press down all the way on the older formula it takes around 5 seconds for it to go back to the original shape, however on the new one it would come up almost immediately. I have been trying to find out from Tempur-pedic whether they had changed the formula but they keep skirting around the issue in emails only saying they do not reveal their formula to the public. I was told by their CSR that they only have one model of the normal topper supreme, and another with a cooling feature called the adapt+ cooling. The CSR told me they would send a replacement but when it arrived it was the same exact thing. On the tags for the older toppers that we bought they were labelled as Visco-Elastic Polyurethane and both made between April and May 2021. The newer toppers only are labelled as Polyurethane and were made in August 2021 and December 2021. The new formula has a much lower density making it much lower in quality and it will not last as long, the old formula had a density of 3.5lbs and the new one 2.3lbs. It feels like any other cheap topper off amazon now. We have another cheap memory foam topper that we got off amazon for like 80 bucks and that one feels better than these new ones from Tempurpedic that cost 400+ for a queen. Just wanted to give you guys a heads up so you don't get an inferior product for that kind of money. Not sure why they had to change the formula but I think it's horrible that they are still charging the same price for this and I will not be buying any Tempurpedic products in the future. ... show more

This mattress topper was not what I was expecting, it is extremely plush and soooo soft. I am giving 4 stars because in the description of product it really does not describe the firmness of the mattress. When looking for a firm mattress topper this was one of the first ones that came up. I got it because I have always thought of tempur-pedic products being very firm and supporting. THIS IS NOT THE PRODUCT for you if you are looking for firmness. THIS is the perfect product for you if you are wanting a big fluffy soft cloud to fall into and be cozy! ... show more
