First bait caster
Style: Left Black Orange
Set up was fine, casts easy enough, the drag has a slight jump on an initial pull then smooths out. Works ok out of the box, kinda feels like I need to pull it apart and lube things up. Price was right just wanted to dip my toes into bait casting. Sure is fun, haven’t settled on how I like to grip things while finishing 😆 so far I’m digging it though ... show more

Appears well made
Style: Left Black Orange
I am new to bait casting so I don’t really know what makes a good reel. This looks to be well made and a good starter reel. For the price I don’t think you could go wrong. It is very light and turns smoothly. Loading the spool was easy after watching some YouTube videos. It does not come with any instructions which would be helpful for a beginner. Overall I am satisfied with my purchase. My review may change after I get to use it a few times. ... show more
