However, the description on Amazon and on the box indicate that you can use the extra piece that is included to make the hoop hang out further to the front… like over the edge of the pool… but that piece does not fit the base or hoop. Haven’t had this for a month and my 9 yr old daughter who has never played basketball, has already worn out the net. Super annoying and I would spend more money on a higher quality hoop next time!

This is VERY light weight and flimsy. Each shot sakes the entire hoop and base. It was unusable for my family. It might work for very small children.
