    • 2 hover balls are not the same
I opened these hover balls and put batteries in to make sure they work. They both do work and hover. I purchased these before as a gift for a child. He enjoyed them so I bought them again as gifts for other grandsons. The reason for the 3 star rating the difference in the balls. One lights up flashing red, blue and green. The other ball is black and white. It lights up. It is very disappointing compared to the colorful ball. It does not light up as colorful as shown in the pictures, the colors are very muted. If both lit up with the red, blue and green I would rate this higher. The colors and lights really do make a difference to kids. We got for our 2-year-old niece's birthday. Both she and her 5-year-old sister love it! It only took them a minute to pick up on how it moves. The motion is gentle enough that when it did bump into something, it was okay, no damage to furniture or people.
