This is real copper cable with flexible outer insulation. Have not installed this yet. But experience has demonstrated when having longer runs of DC current it is best to use copper. Excellent quality wire. Made a 15 or so foot run from main battery to bed mounted auxiliary battery and charge controller as well as for the power lines to the aux controller and power inverter and they work beautifully. No voltage sag. Super flexible for how thick it is. Easy to strip and crimp. And super soft texture makes it nice to work with when doing long runs or putting in a loom.
