The dark blue is always a flattering color. The blouse is a bit too large, but one can wear a colored tea under it and wear unbuttoned. I just washed and dried it, and it does need ironing. It works for me - comfortable.

This shirt is a little oversized but I wear it as a layer over a tank top so it works well for me. The tortoiseshell buttons add a touch of class and make it look more expensive than it is. I ordered two colors, different sizes. The beige felt really stiff (returning). The white felt a bit less stiff and more what I was looking for. The bigger size arrived before I'm expecting the smaller one. I'm waiting so that I can compare which looks better. Update: I bought the black as well. I put it to wash in cold water but I forgot to hang it to dry, or at least on low heat and it shrunk. I'm glad I got the bigger size but I wanted a loose fit. I love the forgiving fit and the colors, I bought the lavender which is a bit on the pink side but I love that. This shirt can be tucked, untucked, belted or tied. It can be a coverup, or worn with a shirt underneath and left unbuttoned, worn with leggings, shorts… needless to say I’m having fun with this shirt and have hopes it will last a long time as it appears sturdy and well made.
