Used this to make new battery cables for a skid steer project, and this stuff was honestly nice to work with. The cable is super flexible, which made routing it around everything way easier than the stiff battery cable you usually run into. The insulation feels solid, the copper strands looked clean when cutting and stripping it, and it crimped really well with the hydraulic crimper. The finished cables came out looking better than I expected for a DIY project. Definitely feels like quality cable. This is GREAT welding lead. I weld on my farm and this is on my welding rig...it gets lots of use and hasn't had any issues. It's constantly out in the Texas sun and weather and the shielding is still bright red and black and hasn't cracked and is still soft and pliable and no corrosion on the copper. I put lemco connectors on them so I can extend them with extra leads I have and to install the whip lead. I did create a 10ft whip on the Positive side with slightly smaller gauge so im holding up this heavy cable. ... show more
