This antenna is amazing. It’s built tough, you can tell it’s not a cheapo! I mounted it in attic and put the power amp in basement. I couldn’t receive a lot of my local stations but this thing picked up 42 stations. Range is amazing. Even a CBS affiliate 90 miles away comes in clear. Easy to install because of small size and heavy duty design. I’m not a fan of the cheap stuff that gets sold on Amazon so I was hesitant but I’m glad I ordered it. It worked surprisingly well indoors for great results with all channels. There isn't any interference and pixelation which too many less expensive products exhibited on several weaker reception channels due to location in a hilly rural area and indirect but not too distant transmitters. Will be installing outside as intended soon, and intend to update my review. So far the results without installing outdoors, and ten feet higher, are impressive! Very high tech well built unit did the impossible until now. It was worth the investment! Updated review: Installing it outside just below roofline did improve channel signal strenghts. Outside it picked up 53 channels, 20 more than indoors. These channels were from about 50+ miles distance and not that clear mostly. The additional channels were unnecessary. Didn't need to adjust the antenna orientation after installing the first time pointed towards closest transmitters. ... show more

    • Great antenna, 100 channels! Good for cities. Gets nearby and distant signals
This is an excellent antenna, at least for my situation. I had a pretty good antenna previously with a pre amp. I was frustrated with the setup as I knew I should be getting more channels, and the ones I had often lost signal or had significant interference and signal quality issues. I am in the San Diego area and would get some LA channels better than the SD ones. This antenna, whether due to the ability to better filter interference from cell towers, or to adjust the gain, worked so much better straight out of the box. I went from around 40 channels to close to 100 that it could find, including some San Diego ones that were missing either due to interference or the signal being too strong (not sure exactly the issue). Also I've only started to use it but so far the signals stay strong, without dripping or interference. It's worth a try in similar urban scenarios. I have it on my roof. ... show more

    • Problems with low vhf 54-88 mhz
I live in the northeast ,Philadelphia. We have a couple of low VHF channels that transmit on low vhf 54-88 MHZ. Meaning the video frequency is received at 55.25 mhz. This antenna unfortunately doesn’t bring it in. I have had this issue with just about every other antenna on the market for apartment dwellers. The telescopic aerials are not long enough to receive this frequency easily.. I have had luck in the past with taking copper wire, cutting it to the quarter wavelength and attaching it to other antennas with great success and feel that I might have to do that with this one. Unfortunately, if you want to get low VHF and an apartment without having some giant antenna, it’s not gonna happen these low profile antennas just don’t have the means to pull those channels in by themselves so don’t waste your money like I did. I’m not gonna return it because it is a really decent antenna nonetheless, I’m just gonna modify it so it works for my needs.. ... show more
