After getting my Jeep Gladiator, I was really in need of a set. Jeep is all metric and Torx. And there are some really large sizes required depending on what you do. The oil filter cap is 24mm, although it's easier to use a socket. Anyway, I shopped around a lot! Harbor Freight, Home Depot, Lowes, and some online stores. Everything came back to this one particular set of Tekton that goes all the way up to 24mm and it doesn't skip a single size! The price cannot be beat for this level of polish. It is a mirror finish! Just beautiful and pleasant to look at and hold. We will see how well they perform, but there are plenty of youtube videos out there on this set that says they are good. When it comes to wenches, as long as the size is correct, it should "work"... more or less. There are no moving parts like a ratchet, so I think it's easier to go cheaper on a wrench and get away with it. It's the little things that makes one better than the other. Like the mirror polish or how well you can read the markings. The markings are punched once near the middle on both sides. I'm in the process of using enamel paint to do red for SAE and blue for metric which will help a bit. The plastic trays are made in the USA and are surprisingly nice quality. Much more sturdy plastic than what I was expecting. My only issue is that they chose red for the metric tray which is backwards for me. Red means SAE to me. and Blue means Metric. So I'm considering spray painting the trays. Not a big deal. All in all, I'm really happy with them. It sounds like Tekton has good customer service and a good warranty. If you need a full set, look no further. It's definitely worth the price to get the extra couple wrenches on this set that goes up to 24mm, because if you have to go to the store to buy 1 single 24mm wrench, it will cost you about $20 to $30. ... show more

I only learned about Tekton a few months ago despite being a mechanic for 10 plus years. Since I didn't know much about them I did a fair amount of video research before buying. I saw a lot of people's positive opinions as well as watching them get put up against top brands in stress-to-failure test. Those videos caused me to lose a lot of faith in brands I used to think were multitudes stronger than any reasonably priced tools. These videos showing these wrenches outperforming Craftsman wrenches (which are probably Craftsman's best product) as well as basically matching or beating a lot of the elite brands that I myself am guilty of over hyping. If you want to be really impressed, look up the videos of their ratchets in stress-to-failure tests, especially but not limited to the quick detach style. The warranty, although I haven't had to actually us it, is a no hassle, no proof of purchase needed warranty using a fast simple easy to find form on their exceptionally well organized website. Nice wrenches, I haven’t done anything crazy hard, like 4 foot cheater bar on them yet. I have put another wrench on for some stubborn bolts. I will be adding their flex head ratcheting wrenches soon. I am happy with this order.

I give it 5 stars because it’s a full set with a nicer case than those roll ups with ties and has convenient handles to carry it. Not the highest quality wrenches per se but for the money they work great carrying around the farm. In most situations I think they’ll hold up fine. I’m thinking in those situations where you need a high quality wrench to prevent further slipping this is not your wrench set but I have not had issues yet with these. I will probably order another couple more sets for tractors. ... show more

Tekton are superior quality wrenches. Thick heavy gauge metal doesn’t bend or flex under pressure. They are true to size and don’t slip under pressure like cheap wrenches do.
