These blocks are sturdy, vibrant colors and easy to Clean. At first glance my kids asked what their purpose was but when I got down on the Floor and demonstrated, they were hooked. Christmas preset for our kids. This arrived and upon taking box out it sounded like a returned box. Seems as the wrappers break easy along edge and allows them to get jumbled up in shipping. Wife and I counted them all last night, and of course I got distracted and started building and stacking. These things are great. Easy to stand longways on side as high as you can manage, lays down well, obviously.     • Versatile and compelling toy
These blocks are exceptionally well made and offer a huge array of play possibilities and for a large range of ages. They even had the adults jumping in when the kids were sidetracked to do some building, but the toddlers were equally infatuated with them.

    • Thought they'd be magnetic...
Every other Tegu block I've purchased has been magnetic, and my son is OBSESSED. He's autistic, and it's very rare that I find a toy that has much of a lifespan for him. His small Tegu block set gets daily play, and he love, love, loves it, so I was excited thinking this would be a larger set of the same type of block. Only after they arrived did I realize these blocks are not magnetic We'll likely keep them and see if he warms up to them, but I was a little bummed. Granted, it's my fault for not reading more closely, but I since I hadn't seen other Tegu products that weren't magnetic, I assumed. We shall see... ... show more

I love tegu blocks but was disappointed when we received these and discovered they are not magnetic. They are just regular building blocks. Would not have paid the price for that.
