great little router with many accessories for the beginner DIYer and wood worker. I was able to plunge cut an almost perfect circle in 3/4" MDF on my first attempt. Although it was no thanks to the instruction manual that had barely any information. I had to come back to this product listing and study the pictures in detail to figure out where and how some of the parts fit together. Also, I think the depth gauge printed on the tool is incorrect, or backwards. All in all, a cheap and useful and easy router to start before I jump into the big brands if I need to.

Great wood trimmer with many cutting heads and a convenient storage case. It is small, compact, and looks well made. I plan to use it for a DIY project to cut a small door in my homemade cat enclosure so my cat can go in and out freely. I think it should work well for this kind of light job.

This router has plenty of power, it has a few glaring drawbacks. Cons: -there’s no finger lock to hold the collet in place which makes using 2 wrenches needed to change bits. Annoying. -the bits are absolute garbage and cheap. Don’t even bother with them. - the circle and offset guides are also a joke in terms of performance. They easily bend under the pressure of the router and make cuts uneven. - minor complaint but it gets pretty warm. Not to the point where you can’t hold it, but it does put off some heat. Pros: - it does have decent power. - it accepts universal 1/4” router bit shafts (you will want to use your own set) - the depth adjustment is easy (though it lacks fine tune depth adjustment) - low noise and comes with a wood chip vacuum port/cover. - the chassis is durable and strong. - size makes it easy to handle. All parts were included except for the sanding disks. Overall I’d give it 3.5 stars with fair value in the $40-50 range.
