It may have been the best time period for video games, the 16-bit era of the 90's, and now the ultimate 90's hero's in a half shell are back in that same pixel style for an all new game that looks like it could have existed in a parallel universe on an arcade back in the 1990's. It arrived exactly as I hoped: brand new! The game itself is a love letter to classic beat 'em up arcade games of the '80s and '90s. The graphics are solid. I bought this game for my grandson and he loves it. He loves fighting the bosses and playing through all the stages. He's 7 years old, and it was a treat for me to be able to put him on to the Ninja Turtles which was something I enjoyed when I was a kid. I remember playing Ninja Turtles the arcade game with my friends at the skating rink as a young boy, and this game kind of has that feel to it. He lives in another state, but I'm looking forward to when I get to see him and play it with him some day soon. ... show more

The game is fun and you can finish it in a reasonable amount of time. There are no excessive or annoying collectibles or secrets like inother games. Reminds me of my childhood. The game can be frustrating at times because the characters move so slow and I can't always make them do what I want them to do. You can't attack and walk at the same time so it makes the game seem sluggish, especially when you're bombarded by a lot of enemies. This game took me way back, good lord, I was 10 playing Turtles in Time, again. Leonardo and I were cleaning up the mean streets, one trash robot at a time. Me and the 7 year old have dished out thorough beatings on all these bad guys. It really does take me back to when games were fun. Even the wife has gotten in on the action. The classic format, left to right scroller, they have stuck to the original content very well. It actually brought characters back from the depths of my memories that I had forgotten about. As shown! It’s hard to find local multiplayer games now. It’s up to 4 local and 8 online. Only complaint is there’s not too much content in the game and u run through the story pretty fast but there r challenges that r very high difficulty to achieve so u can spend a good amount of time trying to get those achievements if left with nothing else to do. ... show more
