Been considering chicory coffee for awhile and glad I tried this product. Very tasty and so similar to coffee. Just wish the price point was a bit more affordable. This will be nice for an occasional treat.

This is a dark brew so you may need to adjust the flavor to your liking. I have mine with coconut milk and cinnamon and I am enjoying it very much. A great alternative to coffee.

It's....Not Bad? The first time I tried this, I thought it was pretty bad. I brewed it using the same procedure that I would use to brew coffee in an Aeropress which was 15 seconds of swirling, 30 seconds of waiting and 45 seconds press time. The taste was weird and I didn't like it. Second time I tried using a French Press according to the instructions. It tasted slightly overbrewed, but I was beginning to see how it could fit into my schedule where coffee wouldn't (at night when I just want a stronger tasting drink). Finally, I tried using a coffee cone filter and brewed it stronger than the instructions since 1 tablespoon per 10 ounces seems like too little. I used two spoonfuls and brewed it over ice to make an iced latte. Pretty close actually, save for the slight woodsy taste that suggests I'm still drinking something herbal, and the mouthfeel isn't quite right. I added a bit of maple syrup as a sweetener, and it seems to fit pretty well. Would I recommend this over decaf coffee? I haven't really tried some of the more modern Swiss Water Decaffeinated coffee, but normal decaf that I get from beans at Trader Joe's or my Tassimo coffee machine or decaf espresso pods all taste better than this. Still, that is but an opinion on my part, and this tastes alright in its own way. Experiment on it like you would coffee, and you might come away with a viable coffee alternative. I'll at least finish the pack fairly happily, but I dunno if I'd get another. Maybe a different flavor from this one.

I'm not supposed to drink caffeine. This is a great alternative to not drinking coffee. An amazing product. Tastes amazing!
