We got this instead of our favorite L. Avazza espresso roast k cups because it was half the current price. Honestly, I actually like the Solomon Dark Roast a lot! It’s very dark, which is great because I’m accustomed to drinking espresso roast. It’s rich, strong, and a little bitter. It really does remind me of the Italian L brand. I think we’re going to switch to this one for now until the L. Avazza comes down in price. I just can’t stand paying double for something that’s not that much better. The Solimo is really good! Definitely give it a try if you like stronger coffee or if you’re accustomed to the L brand of Italian coffee. It’s a decent dupe.

Wife and I love this coffee, not sure exactly what it is about it, but it has the perfect amount of flavor. It's not too sweet, and still tastes like coffee, while also being very enjoyable. They raised the price some, which is a bummer, but it's still worth it in my book.

I was a little skeptical about buying this Amazon brand of coffee, but I found it tasted good. I am NOT a connoisseur of coffee, but do enjoy this light roast, especially with a little extra hazelnut cream added.

Update: We decided to try the french roast flavor. It is much better!! We really didn’t like the Dark Roast. We have noticed some inconsistency in taste of some of the pods, but the flavor and body of this blend is much better for our taste. We tried this coffee (dark roast) as we ran out of what we usually buy (San Francisco Bay) and this was on sale. Really disappointed in the taste. It’s pretty tasteless —like coffee at a super cheap restaurant. I would not buy again.
