Update: I still love it --- ordered a second for my back gate because that is where everyone comes to....and my friend wanted one. Everything may have a challenge (I have not experienced any). Even in extreme weather it still works. I set a different tone from the front and back so I know which door to go to. Loud. For the price - you cannot go wrong. It does not look cheap - it has a classy look compared to the original door bell. You cannot get a better product for the price. I told my friend it was about $30 and when I went back to order it for her - I am like wow. I do not recommend buying products - just leave feedback on my experience - but you really can't go wrong for the price. Ooops I just read my old review and said the same things -- wow, it just did not change. (posted 6/5/20). I love it. I had got it for our back door/gate because you can get to our back door/gate through a slight inclined ramp but the stairs are in the front. We still have people come and the doorbell does not always work so I decided to install there - it is soft but loud. I just ordered another one for the back gate. We have dark brown trim so it goes. We have a 3 bedroom 2 bath house and I can hear when I am in the back of the house. Of course, I do have natural doorbells - my dogs :-). I am not big to recommend products because your experience will be different - but for the price, style, ease of installing, you really can't go wrong.

I got these to sync with my iPad, TV, and Android phone easily. I did have a bit of trouble connecting with my computer. I did eventually get it to work. Quality audio on all devices. Controls are easy to work, with the sound controls easily accessible. Down volume on the mic side and up volume on the opposite side. One thing that would be helpful is some kind of indication when the mic is muted.

I used this on a doorway that is protected by a porch covering, so I have had no weather related issues. It was so so simple to install. I pulled it out of the package, plugged the wall plug in, used the adhesive to attach the doorbell and I was done. It came with directions to sync the two pieces but they were already done upon arrival. The bell is nice and loud, my house is just over 2,000 square feet and you can absolutely hear the bell everywhere. The lowest setting is loud to me, but I know you need to hear the bell. There are A LOT of tunes to choose from in addition to the typical doorbell noises. It’s fun for my kids to play with and change on us. And it lights up when you push the button outside. So you know it’s ringing inside, if you couldn’t also hear it then it would be even more helpful. Overall, I’ll definitely repurchase if we move and need another bell. The one on our house was old and didn’t work anymore so this one was nice and well priced.

This TECKNET doorbell is a cinch to set up – truly plug-and-play! The variety of jingles is fantastic, and we've been having a blast cycling through them. Right now, our doorbell sings "Under the Sea" from The Little Mermaid, much to the delight of our kids and grandkids. It's a fun and quirky way to welcome guests, and the sound quality is surprisingly good for a doorbell.
