I've owned quite a few keyboards over the years and have spent some good money on ones that were only half as good as this and 3-4x's more $. I got tired of having to plug in the wireless keyboard so often to recharge it. Why bother with a wireless when 20-25% of the time it's plugged in? Plus, a wired keyboard is always going to be a touch faster and more reliable than a wireless. I Really dig the feel of this keyboard, the quietness, the touch, and the height is perfect. I dig the colors as well and the ability to bring the brightness down. I really don't have any complaints. I'm glad I went back to basics.

I just got this TECKNET Wired Keyboard to relace a 7 year old keyboard. I really like it. Plug and play. I sometimes work at night in my home office with dim lights and I like the multiple colors on the backlit keys and being able to adjust the brightness. The touch is solid, sure and quiet. Hard to apprise longevity but it works great for now.

Keyboards are vast and varied. Never thought I would have a favorite. Now I do. The keys are so easy and light to push and are a great relief. The keys are instantly responsive. Connection is plug and play. It is quiet. COMPATIBILITY: It works For Windows and LINUX users, YES it works plug and play on LINUX. That was a consideration for me when buying it. No drivers to install. It has a long cord, well tied with two twist ties. Came packaged well in the box, but was sent in a paper pouch by amazon. Still it was well protected and worked right out of the box. GET THIS if you need ease of typing and don't want mechanical clicking.

Oddly enough, the spacebar on this "silent typing" keyboard is louder than any spacebar I've heard on any other keyboard. The other keys are whisper quiet, but the spacebar is pretty loud. It seems to depend on how I hit it, and where, but it also seems that where *I* tend to hit it most is loud. But don't let that deter you. Overall, I like this keyboard. The backlight is awesome and nicely adjustable. The keys feel really good. They have just the right amount of movement without it being too much or too little. Functionally, all is great. But out of the box, the spacebar is comically loud. Perhaps it will quite down as it gets broken in.

I own far better keyboards. I purchased this to ravel with because I prefer a full-sized keyboard and mouse to my laptop's keys/trackpad. Back lighting works well. Keys are quiet and fairly responsive. It has gaming symbols for movement added to the key fonts which are silly. Great for what it is, but don't expect Cherry mechanical quality and response.

This keyboard is good. They keys on this one are smooth and precise unlike others that tend to stick a tiny bit or where some keys you have to bang on to get them to work. The backlighting is perfect with plenty of color options. I definitely recommend especially at the price point.

3 Stars The very first bullet point in the features says: "【Quiet & Comfortable Typing】 Designed with low-profile membrane keys, this keyboard delivers soft keystrokes and significantly reduces typing noise, creating a quiet and focused workspace. It is perfect for offices, libraries, late-night work, or any shared environment where silence is valued. " Much of that is not true. Perhaps they got product descriptions mixed up with a different keyboard? This is NOT a silent keyboard. Yes, the keys are about 3/4 height of the keys on those trendy mechanical keyboards, but its is still a mechanical keyboard and sounds every bit as loud as one. This will not "create a quiet and focused workspace". It is not "perfect for offices, libraries, late-night work, or any shared environment where silence is valued". You will be given dirty looks if you start clanking away on that in any of those places. And lord help you if you start typing on that in the middle of night when the house is silent. For this clearly false or misplaced description I had to deduct 2 stars. I bought this because my criteria were: Silent backlit fullsized no bulky casing NOT mechanical I've returned it. But otherwise it was rather nice looking and had a good, solid quality feel to it. I can't speak to the longevity of course, but if you like mechanical style clankity-clank style keyboards but want one more upscale and adult looking, this is for you. Otherwise, you might not be happy.

is tactile the right word? They're slightly curved. I didn't realize I wasn't getting the non-lighted one, but I still think this is great. I think this is practically the quietest keyboard you can get. It will still have the relative plastic clickiness that you cannot remove because of general physics, but it feels like there is enough push on the keys that it is minimized. I'm testing the general quiteness of the keys with the back legs up and I feel that the keys are slightly more muted/quieter with them down. They back legs also add a giant overwhelming clack sound, so be wary of that if you were trying to go ultra stealth with your quietness. Great value for the money at $13.99. It is lightweight. It is wired. The version I got has no backlight. I just got it recently so I have no statement on the build quality because I don't have enough experience with it over time, but it feels quite professional and sturdy enough. The wire is on the lesser quality side, but that's normal for practically most keyboards. It would be nice if they did an iteration in the future with some kind of strengthened cord, but nobody else is even doing that and I don't think customers would care. At this price, it is fine for now. I just really hope this keyboard lasts me as long as it can.
