I bought this product in April 2021. Today, December 2023, I took off the case for I think the first time ever. It took a bit of prying to actually get it off, but wasn’t hard. I don’t think I’ve gotten a single crack in my screen protector since I first bought this case. The case has held up very well. The most damage that has happened is the edges of the case getting minor scrapes from all the times I’ve accidentally dropped my phone on pavement and things like that. Looking at it off of my phone I can tell the edges have yellowed quite a bit but the back of the case is still very clear. (I added the black circle in the image for my pop socket.) I feel like this case could last me another two and a half years easily, but since I had it off I figured I might as well buy a new one. I’ve definitely gotten my money’s use out of it! The edges of my charger port and speakers definitely built up a little grime but it came off easily with a damp q-tip. For what my phone has gone through in the last 2 1/2 years I am extremely satisfied with this case and how it has help up and protected my phone. ... show more

Having had the same case on my iPhone 8 for years with it having survived a number of drops, I was happy to replace it with the equivalent model for my iPhone 12 Pro. Pros: Nice looks, solid protection, slimmer form factor, pairs well with most screen protectors Cons: A bit slippery In contrast to the concerns others raised about the buttons, I find the ones on the copy I received to be the most responsive of any case I have used. The fit is very snug, so if you are intent on taking the case off frequently, I'd consider something else. Otherwise, this is a great choice. ... show more

I’ve had this case for just over a month. I’ve been biking outside with it in phone mount on my mountain bike 5-15 miles a day in a desert climate where it’s in the sun constantly. It is yet to show any signs of yellowing. My case is scratched up on the back from being strapped into the holder, but for the abuse I put this case through, it’s performed EXCEPTIONALLY well! The fit is unmatched and the buttons work GREAT! I rarely write a review on things, but this case in an excellent case. Since I got my new phone I’ve tried many and this is the one I settled on.     • Streamlined but Provides Good Protection

This EvoClear version is made out of TPU, whereas some of the other colors like the EvoCheck used to use, and may still use, something the company calls FlexShock, which is a bit more rubbery feeling. However the TPU in this version is still somewhere between rubber and plastic, and has a good grip, and offers almost as good drop protection. Contrary to what some reviews say, the case fits an iPhone 12 Pro quite well. It's not crystal clear, as it has a little bit of milky translucence, with a bluish tint when it's empty, but bluishness isn't apparent when it is mounted. I purchased at the same time another brand of a clear case that cost less than one third the price, which is pretty much crystal clear, but with the bumpers on the corners and perhaps sharper edges, it does not look as smooth as the tech21, even if it is a little less bulky, and doubtless would not offer as much impact protection. Speaking of impact protection, the official information in the manufacturers info for this EvoClear version says it offers protection from 10 foot drops, and this is what it says on the box it came in, while some of the other colors, like the EvoCheck, have 12 foot drop protection. Unfortunately, the title description and Amazon bullet points give erroneous information that this has 12 foot drop protection. I sent feedback about this issue, so we'll see if it's corrected. This means one must be very careful not to toss the iPhone higher than 10 feet or drop it from an elevation over 10 feet. If you feel the need for two feet more protection, you have to get one of the other colors, like the EvoCheck or the EvoWallet. ... show more

What can I say..... I love Tech 21. Durable & fits perfectly. I have never used another brand phone case so I don’t have anything to compare it to. I always get white cases and ever though they are advertised as “non yellowing”, the always change colour and have to be replaced, unless you want to walk around with a dingy looking case. This one has not changed yet because in just a few weeks in but we’ll see. Overall, I like the level of protection that this case gives. No issues with my screen protector — I prefer plastic to glass. I find it to be pricey for a plain ole simple case but again, it’s the durability over looks for me ... show more

We’ve come back to this brand for several new phones now (everyone in our household). We did the otterbox for a while (phone still broke), lifeproof (also broke), and our clumsy selves just couldn’t stop dropping phones. A person at Verizon recommended this case in like, I don’t know, 2018 maybe. I threw it on, just to hold me over until I found something better. Spoiler, there was nothing better. It’s thin, stays on (if anything, it’s a challenge to take off). Now my entire family uses this brand exclusively. I have a 16 and 11 year old, so these things get dropped getting in and out of the car daily (trust me, I don’t understand how they haven’t figure it out yet), and they’re perfect. I do want to note, in addition to these cases, we also put a tempered glass screen protector on. I feel like we’ve found the winning combo. ... show more
