  • Nice replica, sharp click sound!
Well made little replica! Nice solid *click* and it was a funny little Christmas present.(I wrapped it up outside of its packaging and put it under our tree. The whole thing was like 2" and is easily the tiniest present I have ever wrapped)

When I was a kid I went to Europe and got to see a lot of historic sites, I was fortunate to get to see Normandy Beach in France and I remember seeing these and hearing about it's role... It's rather fascinating. I bought one as a souvenir and through the years it was lost. I was super stoked to see it on here. I told myself I'd use it to distract my pup when he misbehaves but in reality I just wanted it as a fun trinket to remind myself of the trip and to have a cool gadget. It's SUPER loud! and just the coolest thing. ... show more

  • Perfect
I bought this item to get attention in my high school classroom. It worked immediately. The students love it and I do too. I use it at the beginning of class and as we transition from activity to activity. It is an item for many uses!

  • Functionally great, aesthetically lacking
I had one of these that we picked up at Normandy better than a decade ago. When we started our podcast I found its sharp click was the perfect way to notate where an edit needed to be, as it would easily clip the signal on my mike, and was strong on all the others. Unfortunately my old one finally gave up the ghost after 65 episodes. It finally bent too much, and actually formed a crack. I looked on Amazon, and found this model, and generally I am really happy with it. It gives a nice loud click that spikes in Audacity, but doesn't take a ton of effort to push through the click zone. Functionally it does everything I want it to, and I expect it to last a long time. So why only 4 stars instead of 5? Mine came with bad finish problems. It almost looks like before they plated the gold they didn't do a very good job of cleaning the top section, and it has rough, raw spots, that will be prone to corrosion at the slightest hint of moisture. That and frankly it makes it look cheap. The crimp is also a little uneven, though serviceable. That said, from a functional standpoint, it works fabulously, and perhaps even better than my original. I would recommend this one, as long as you understand it isn't going to win any beauty pageants. ... show more

  • Great clicker
Just like the ones my dad & uncles brought home from Europe. It's very well made & it's very loud. I purchased two & use one when our little chihuahua starts acting out. When he's doing something bad, a couple clicks & he stops dead in his tracks. It's better than yelling at him. The cheap plastic party clickers aren't loud enough to get his attention. ... show more
