This stand was super quick and easy to assemble and disassemble, but it doesn't bear the weight stated. I put curtains on the crossbar, and because I was concerned about the weight of the curtains, I made sure to find a stand that said it would support that weight. This stand is supposed to support at a minimum 10kg, which should be over 22 lbs. The curtains I used weighed in at 10 lbs. or 4 kg, and the crossbar was bowed due to the weight. I think it would be fine for a light photo backdrop, but be aware that the center will sag if you use heavier materials on the pole.

I've been trying to do more social media photos and wanted to do some fun editing and back drops. I was tired of duct taping a sheet to my wall so I invested in this backdrop stand. It is really compact and light. Its super easy to put together and you can adjust the length and height with ease. It comes with clips and extra wing nuts. It took me a minute to figure out how to put it back in the carrying case but eventually fit everything in there. It is nice to carry around and back with you if you shoot photos. So far I am happy with it and it seem really sturdy. I am not a professional so I cannot speak from a professionals view but for someone just wanting to up their selfie game it is perfect.

Well, I suppose you get what you pay for. Although, I remember when Amazon used to be a trusted source. Not only was Amazon affordable but everything was such good quality. And then they opened it up for every Tom, Dick and Harry to sell anything and it’s barely a step above Temu now. This is the third time in the past year that I’ve ordered something from Amazon and it turned out to be absolute junk. This thing couldn’t even hold the weight of two sheer curtains. Indoors. Completely flimsy and useless. The only thing worth keeping are the clips or hand grips that it came with. Those things are sturdy. But the rest of this thing is absolute garbage and that’s exactly where it’s going.
