This is a super cute and pretty sturdy Kitchen toy that I'm happy I bought. Initially, I bought this just over 2 weeks before my daughter's birthday since the original picture said "prime". Her birthday came and went and then another week, and then another. I should have known that would happen because it said I'd get an email when my order was ready to be shipped, but it took over 2 weeks for that to even happen. I nearly cancelled it, but I didn't want to disappoint. Then when it did arrive, I was unaware that I needed to sign for it so it nearly got sent back, but I called UPS and told them that I would come down to pick it up because no on is ever home during their route to my house (not knowing that it would be sent UPS or even have any kind of choice how I wanted it to be sent) I took it back to my house to put together. Everything went smoothly up until the end. I got to the end where you have to attach the closures for all of the doors and I did, but when I tried to close them all, nothing matched up. I had to take them all off and then I tried switching the pieces, because may be those little plastic closures were defective. It wasn't the closures at all! All of the holes to screw the closures into didn't match up. On one side it would be too high and the other too far to the left or right. I tried Velcro, but it looks tacky, so then I tried magnets. This seems to be the best fix, but the magnets that I bought are too weak. If I had a drill, I would have made new holes. So in conclusion, I am very happy about this Kitchen toy, but advise you keep a drill handy to make the process go by faster and also to make drill new holes if they are not fitting properly. ... show more

Just got this (one-peice) kitchen today (so can't speak to long-term durability), but I am very happy with it. It's beautiful and a really great size. It's short enough that my 2-year-old can fully engage with it, but should be big enough that she can continue to play with it for years to come. (I also believe we can increase the height easily by putting taller feet on it or attaching a deep, solid base of a few inches.) Agree with all the other positive reviews that it is sturdy and well-built. Instructions are very clear and easy to follow (though there are no extra screws and definitely does take a while to assemble - I did it alone in about 2 hrs with distractions). I wrongly assumed it was constructed of solid wood, but it's not. It is still very sturdy and heavy, but it's some form of manufactured wood. Additionally, there were a number of minor scuffs and scratches on the paint when it arrived (not significant enough to want to bother with requesting replacement pieces, but it does make me wonder if the paint with scuff easily with normal play). My daughter played with the kitchen for about 15 minutes and I noticed that the silver phone left scuff marks on the play kitchen wall (that didn't wipe off with a soapy rag). I also noticed the faucet had a couple scuff marks on it from her removing and replacing the sink (which also wouldn't wipe off). In summary, I am very happy with the kitchen at the price I was able to buy it ($115), but due to the minor issues mentioned above, I would have expected a bit higher quality if I had paid $300+. ... show more

This has got to be one of the best purchases for a child ever. Putting it together was not difficult (especially using a power screwdriver) and it is gorgeous. Knobs that click, doors that open and close and even an icemaker with cup. I do not understand the poor reviews as this is a fantastic play kitchen. Bought it for our 2 yr old granddaughter and am going to order a second one for our house. Worth every penny! ... show more

Some of the holes were to big for the screws provided. It had two missing screws and Teamson shipped them when I contacted them. I feel it should be a sturdier product for the price. Was not satisfied but was a gift and my little loved it. It is a cute kitchen set and pretty color.

Very realistic and has decent detail for the price. I'm very mechanically inclined and it still took me 3.5 hours to assemble. Not a project to start after midnight on Christmas Eve! Instructions were helpful and the packaging impressive. I plan to anchor this to the wall once it finds a permanent home in my granddaughter's play room. Have it shimmed for now. This play kitchen (or "Farm Bookshelf", as the instruction booklet oddly called it) arrived fast and looks very cute, but that's about all we can say in its favor. It was difficult to put together, with many of the pilot holes painted over and the decorative wooden swag over the window held in very weakly with flimsy dowels. The worst part of the install was that the panel containing the knobs was either painted upside down, or the wooden blocks for screwing it into place were put on backwards. Either way, we had to remove them and switch them to make sure the panel was on right-side-up. There are two screw holes in the countertop that do not attach to anything. The hardware requires multiple screwdriver types and sizes, and one screw was nonfunctional due to metal debris in the top. In the product description it says that it has brass handles; they're white and silver plastic like the pictures show. It took two competent adults 2 hours to put this thing together. That said, it did arrive in time for our daughter's birthday, and she probably won't notice these issues. She will probably treasure this farm bookshelf forever. ... show more

Was difficult to put together because it wasn’t square so the doors are hard to shut and one of the hinges came wonky and the fridge door wont shut at all and we can’t fix it. Also it’s not white, it’s off white or cream but looks more like the white has yellowed already. Still hoping it will hold up to lots of play time, it’s definitely not perfect but for the price it’s cute and kids love the ice maker. ... show more
