Screws aren't exact to the holes, they don't label the screws as mm although the instructions denote mm, i.e. 9mm, 14mm, 22mm, 35mm. Cheap engineered wood so it isn't very strong even though heavy. Some pieces can with scratches on the wood and the paint was damaged in certain spots. My daughter was so excited about it we decided not to return it. It is super cute and not hard to put together although it probably took us as hour to do so.

So far 1 star, I’m missing the (R) piece and one of the screws was rolling around out of the bag and dented another piece.

This thing may of been in a hundred pieces but was packaged very well. Unfortunately, Sunday afternoon I proceed to put this kitchen together for my granddaughters playhouse. The cabinet base grooves did not align for the back panel to slide down. I ended up grabbing my router and made it work. :( I emailed customer service which did respond back Monday morning. We had to have the original replaced because it came with no hardware. We missed the event it was purchased for. So that was disappointing. And the assembly was quite the feat. Luckily my nephew has construction experience because it came in 1000 pieces. I would have returned it if left solely up to me. All in all the kid loves it so I guess it was worth the hassle. Our family ordered it for us as a gift for our daughter. We didn't want any cheap-looking plastic kitchen, and we already had a different kitchen with the same design by Little Tikes, so our expectations were high. When we unwrapped it and started to assemble it, we found out that the pieces are chipped and scratched, the sink keeps popping out, and that it is over-all very poor quality. Also, the labels on some of the components and in the instructions didn't match, which made the assembly so much harder! We also had to use some of our own screws because we couldn't find them. We found them after we assembled the whole thing, but only 4 of them, there were supposed to be 6. To sum it up, very poor quality, pretends to be something it's not, painful assembly. But our daughter loves it (because it's pink). Next time, we'll invest more and get something from Melissa&Doug. ... show more
