I was concerned about the packaging being a bit light and unprotected, however, the product arrived undamaged, thankfully. Seems very easy to step on and crush by mistake, so I would hope for a bit more protective packaging on top of the plastic casing. Otherwise, 10/10 very well performing. Rivals Corsair vengeance and very affordable price. Performs as expected, my nephew reached up to a steady 200 frames per second while playing his game. He says it has never been that smooth before. RAM will be as powerful as your computer allows it to be. In most cases, the default RAM is insufficient and very limiting for the power of the computer or laptop. My laptop at 32GB 2600Mhz SODIMM would not perform substantially better if any better at all if I added any more RAM.

Not all SoDimms work on all laptops even if they are rated to specs. I can tell you that these work great on the ASUS model ROG STRIX G814J. The laptop comes with a paltry 16GB RAM and this will double the RAM to the maximum of 32GB. Not sure why they chose a chipset that limits the laptop to 32GB but they did and this is as much as you can install.

A recent purchase of an Alienware M17 R5 Gaming Laptop was done with a Ryzen 7 6800H CPU was made with the bare minimum configurations for memory and storage. Although the price uplifts for a factory upgrade weren't egregious, I knew I could do better from the overall value perspective spending ~10 minutes to install a new memory kit and replacing the SSD. From the memory perspective, I've historically had excellent luck with TEAMGROUP memory. While it may not always have the lowest latency at its price point, stability and reliability of TEAMGROUP memory has been rock-solid. This kit delivers the goods at a very reasonable price. Packaging is sufficient and was easy to open. With this upgrade, I have absolutely no concerns related to meeting or exceeding the requirements of current and future titles.

I bought this RAM for a laptop, it's relatively slow but it was cheap. Unfortunately, one of my two sticks died. I tried everything I could, putting it in different slots, cleaning the pins gently. One stick worked, the other one was dead. When I reach out for RMA, the make you pay for shipping of the dead item back. I haven't even owned this item for a year, it died under normal conditions, and I need to pay for the shipping back? The best part is, if you have a laptop you are probably traveling a lot. Guess what, if you are overseas you have to ship it anywhere in the world to their headquarters in Taiwan! The shipping is more than what a used RAM stick is worth, for something that wasn't my fault. Just spend a few bucks more for better RAM from reputable company.

2022 ASUS G15 with original 16GB Ram. I know the sweet spot is supposed to be 24GB but I went with the 32GB TG 4800 SoDimm Ram stick. I don't game. No issues. Been using TG RAM on some of my older builds. Never have had any issues.

Install this RAM on an MSI Cyborg to replace 16 GB 5200 mHz RAM. Ran userbenchmark before and after. Dropped in performance by 4% from 98th/108th/98th percentile. However, being able to play a game without closing every other app on my laptop is worth it. Still better than 94% of the computers out there.

The media could not be loaded. 4 month old RAM tested on 2 separate brand new systems. Each experienced freezes/lockups/restarts much like others have described here. Noticed issues after the first month which commenced an arduous troubleshooting process. Original RAM works great with the exact software installation. Also, these PASSED all OEM and and any other software based tests myself and other professionals could throw at it. Be careful as it seems these bad sticks are not detected with modern software based testing methods. I have an RMA in progress and may revise this review based on the company's resolution. They proclaim to have a lifetime warranty. We will see how it goes. ==UPDATE 7/21/23== 6 week turn-around on the RMA process. 2nd set of RAM provided by the company had identical issues as the first set. Bought a another set from a more reliable brand. No issues. Never buying from TeamGroup again.
