  • They work great so far!
Size: 32GB Kit (4x8GB) Style: 1600 CL11-11-11-28 Color: Dual Channel
So far so good! I updated an old Dell Optiplex 9020 from 8gb RAM to these 8GB sticks for a total of 32GB of RAM in 4 slots. I'm glad I did too because I routinely find myself using about 20gb of RAM while using the computer and running multiple applications with my browser open with tons of tabs open. It's been about 2 weeks since I've installed them, I use the PC daily and haven't had any problems whatsoever so far. Don't be alarmed when first installing these if you see your disk use drastically increase. It's due to windows indexing system and getting adjusted to the new RAM it will settle back down eventually, usually in about 30 minutes but really it depends on your system, if you have an HDD or SSD and so on. But yeah no complaints, all good here! ... show more

  • Old pc? This is for you! Gains 20fps
Size: 16GB Kit (2x8GB) Style: 1600 CL11-11-11-28 Color: Dual Channel
If you’re still running on ancient PC that’s from prior 2017, this is for you. Used this via dual channel in my old DDR3 gaming pc for about 4 months now. Going from 8gb to 16gb is HUGE for gaming. Should give you another 10-20fps than what you’ve been getting if you only had 8gb. If you’re new to PC, make sure you have the ram slot lined up correctly with the ridge spacing on the ram so it lines up correctly. If you try to force it in and it’s having the wrong direction, you may break your ram slot. That’s with any ram on any pc. Just a tip. ... show more

  • Good RAM for grandma
Size: 16GB Kit (2x8GB) Style: 1600 CL11-11-11-28 Color: Dual Channel
Works great in older systems. Used this to spice up Granny's old second-gen Core i3 system for an entirely inappropriate Windows 11 install. Seems to be good quality, has a nice black PCB (although who's showing off DDR3?). No heat sinks/spreaders but I'd argue they're not necessary. The use case for these in this day and age is almost entirely upgrading decrepit old pre built PCs to eke out a bit more life. Those are going to run this stuff at stock clock speeds, which will keep it cool enough. ... show more
