Well this is my honest review. I was a little leery of buying this product because it said frequently returned. I received my package today installed in my car and it works perfectly. You have to be willing to mess with the settings to get it just right the way you want it. I think that's where most of the confusion is coming from. So if you've got half a brain and are somewhat mechanically inclined you shouldn't have problem using this device. I like the fact that it gives me my oil temp and also my coolant temp among many many other things. It also works as an OBD2 monitor you can read and erase codes. I installed the suction cup on my window and the bottom part I put the sticky pad so I used both and the damn thing don't go nowhere. So I'm very happy with it I won't be returning it unless it breaks within 30 days which I don't foresee. Anyway good luck to you with your purchase.

For the price I like the product I compared it to my banks power version witch is one of the best on the market.. it had same readings boost and temp and ll basic info let me know one of my trucks was under boost glad I bought it before serious issues.. I put it on my daily 07 lbz duramax would recommend if u dont have the money for a 400+ one

The media could not be loaded. Seemed good at first, but after a month of using it on my truck when I start the vehicle the gauge will emit a ear piercing alarm and the buttons have no effect to silence them. The only way to get it to stop is to unplug the OBD2 cable. I reached out to support and they gave me the run around and wanted a video. I'm attaching the video I captured but you shouldn't have to do so much back and forth to warranty a $30 item. They should have just replaced it when I first brought it up instead of making me message them back and forth multiple times. Complete waste of time. It's a neat concept when it works.

I installed this in my 2018 Subaru Impreza. It works well for the most part, I used the suction cup as the sticky pads are useless. If you don't want the suction cup method, get some double sided 3M or Gorilla Tape. Also, for my specific car, the AFR readings are wrong. But the other data seems to be accurate. I tuned the speedo to 105% and it's reading dead on with the cluster. I also set it to RPM mode for shutdown just to be sure it powers off when my engine does, with a 55 second timer. So far so good. It's responsive too, but I wish there were a few more customization options. You can change two of the parameters on each screen using the left and right buttons and luckily turn off the button beep!

This works great with my 2007 Mini Cooper. Some models of these displays work only with post-2008 vehicles. This one displays everything I need, to include coolant temperature and oil temperature, as there are no gauges on the Mini that display those.

Bought this to get a tachometer functionality because some people on a forum recommended this to get a tach for a Rav4 prime. The issue with the Rav4 prime (and not so much with this HUD) is the battery voltage is super inconsistent. Sometimes it's over 14V, sometimes its at 12.8, 12.9V, and it can interfere w/ the voltage off, so unless if you're okay at working out some inconsistencies with this display, maybe don't get one for the Rav4 prime (I mean, the product description says it's not compatible w/ hybrids). The mounting tape wasn't very strong, and the suction cup was initially not "suction" at all until I took the proper time to get it suctioned on the window, and it has held itself in place ever since. There's an included screwdriver to remove the bottom plastic plate that you adhere the double sided tape to, I opted to removing that after getting the suction cup working properly, and used a piece of tape so the little remaining plastic bits have a soft place to sit on and doesn't damage the dash. 3 control buttons lets you to cycle between different display modes/entering into the settings/switching different readings on subsections of the HUD, and you're able to see readings like coolant temp, oil temp, transmission temp, turbo boost (if your car has a turbo), there's not too much customization, but there is a blanket reading page that just shows everything possible, if you need something like that. What is absolutely awful and not an excuse however, is the manual. There's like...no instructions on setting the manual, and it feels like half of the settings don't even do anything. There's also no way to disable certain warnings, like "high coolant temp warning", the only thing you can do is set it to an ungodly 200C. It also seems to shut itself off after the specified voltage after 3min regardless of what you set for the timer to turn this OBD2 off, at least that's what I assume what that setting is supposed to do, but there's no manual to tell me that. Given the price, this would absolutely be 5 stars had the manual actually detailed what all the settings did.
