  • Works as expected
Purchased for my table saw and find it works exactly as expected. It's accurate and the screen is easy to read. Feels quality and the magnet works well.

  • Better than expected
Absolutely the easiest angle measuring device I've ever used. I have several, old-school miter angle measuring tools, including the highly regarded 'Pro Site Starrett' tool (which is outstanding!) but sometimes impossible to fit into tight corners or spaces. This tool works in small spaces and is quickly becoming my go-to angle measuring device. Sometimes new technology does improve things. 5 stars ... show more

  • Very clever design. A must have in the shop.
I don't use this much as a level, but more as an angle finder. You can't always trust the angle pointer that comes with table-saws, bandsaws or jointer fence. This magnet attaches to the blade or fence to accurately show if your bench tools are spot-on. I also like the automatic shut-off. The instructions that come with the unit or non-existent. Pretty much just a drawing. Once you get the hang of it though, it's really easy to use. ... show more

  • Digital Level
I've run into the problem when the project I'm working on doesn't allow me enough room use a standard level or protractor to get an accurate reading. This tool works well. I've not had the problem where some have reported they couldn't get it to zero out. It's been a helpful tool for me.

  • Miter Saws need alignment also
As a car needs front and rear end alignment, so does your miter saw.

  • Works great to the tenth of a degree
Absolute must if you care about your edge angle when sharpening knives. I can get accuracy better than .5 degrees - impossible to do with just judgement, no matter how many years you've been sharpening. You just have to place it on the flat of the blade, not the grind. If you are using a sharpening system, you can put it on the rod or stone to get the same accuracy when setting the angle. Indispensable. ... show more

  • Great tool for leveling rifle scopes.
Read on YouTube about using a digital level for leveling rifle scopes. So I thought I would give it a try. And it is definitely more accurate then trying to use bubble levels that have so much space between the bubble and the lines.

  • OK, but I should level with you…
This is a decent digital Angle Finder, but I ended up returning it because of a few nuisance issues. First of all, the display which is green background, is very difficult if not impossible to read unless you’re looking directly at the face. Second, when choosing to zero the surface For measuring a related angle, it’s very difficult to get the display to read 0.0. It always has 0.5, 0.6, but not 0.0. And the magnet in the bottom of this unit is good, but not nearly as strong as magnets in its competitors devices. I ended up getting a Klein Product because of the high contrast display, 0.0 read out stability, and strong magnet. ... show more
