I found this pair over at Slickdeals. I'm a big fan of this type of design where they sit just at the ear canal. I don't really like in-ear headphones and I've tried a number of wired and wireless models. These are great if you include the discount I received. It brought them under $30. I've used TCL products previously and have always been very impressed. Here are my pros and cons for these. Pros: * Good sturdy charging case * Charges via USB C * Sound is good, excellent highs and mid, enough bass for videos and movies. * Battery life is pretty close to advertised * No issues switching between using single earbuds either left or right. Cons: * They are slightly big for my ears making them a little uncomfortable. * Case is hard to open, between strong magnets and a thin profile it's tough for my sausage fingers * The stems of the earbuds are great and feel good in the hand and ears, but it makes pulling them out of the case tough * Music, if you like a ton of bass these will not be for you. It's not an issue for me but it will be for some. * Touch controls are not as responsive as some earbuds I've tried, but I don't use touch controls that often. Summary: Overall, these are good. I will continue wearing them and see if the size is a factor over time. Charging via USB C and the battery life are really great features. For the price, these would be hard to skip for TWS in 2021. ... show more

    • TCL S150 True Wireless Earbuds
The TCL S150 True Wireless Earbuds in my opinion is as follows. These are great quality head phones for the price. The head phone don't have a silicone gasket to seal the world off to you (Semi loose fitting). The TCL S150 are shaped like the Apple head phones from years back. The sound quality is excellent for rock, classical, country music. They don't have deep bass, but more like a clear bass non-overwhelming. The battery life is good I got about six hours before need a charge. USB charging is nice also and takes about hour. Not Apple or Bose but good enough. I hope this helps someone with there decision to purchase a pair. ... show more

    • Very poor battery life
They sound okay, just okay. Very little bass. But most importantly, 20 hrs batter life my @$$. They died in 4 hours fresh from charging overnight. I wish there was a way to contact tcl directly about this.

    • Great earbuds but had to replace
I love the earbuds - comfort - price - sound. But after reading another review on them I decided to tap each one 5 times to be able to pair to 2 devices. Big mistake! I was unable to get the right and left to pair with each other after that in spite of trying everything suggested on the TCL help video for when only getting sound out of one earbud at a time. I contacted their chat who told me to return them for a replacement. In other words I could not get the sound on both of them when listening to music! Another weird thing is each earbud would show up to pair separately on mt device. Bottom line it confused me - maybe it won't you. Regardless they are excellent in my opinion. But tapping on them to do different things takes getting used to. And the instructions are not that great. So if you ever have this problem please post if you have resolved it in your review. It won't affect my rating as what little I know about earbuds - I am very pleased! ... show more

I received the pair before Xmas and started to use them. Some photos posted showing the comparison to my wife’s AirPods. I think the value worth every penny.     • Good, but…
My problem when shopping earbuds is I don’t like the kind with the rubber piece poking in my ear hole. So I’m limited to this style. After going through numerous inexpensive Bluetooth earbuds, I discovered the problem with most is the tiny drivers, some as small as 8mm. I found these searching specifically for “13mm driver”. I was only hoping for something that sounds as decent as the corded headphones that come with the iPhone. Initially these were a huge disappointment, but I discovered the material that they used to cover the ports to make these waterproof is what was blocking the sound. I plucked the rubbery foam material out, and the sound opened all the way up. Of coarse my earbuds are no longer waterproof, but I am now pleased with the sound. I like that these are more compact with the larger driver than most inexpensive earbuds, but in addition to my initial problems with the sound quality, the touch controls are too sensitive and starting to grind on my nerves. I feel I should give a lower rating, but compared to others in this price range, I am at least satisfied with these. ... show more

    • Comfortable and continues to work through the first charge
This is my fifth set of "cheap" earbuds. I bought the first brand twice and they both failed when one of the earbuds failed to charge (not sure if it was the case or the charger or both). I then switched brands and the SAME THING happened. Searching on the internet, this problem is very common. This brand showed up at my preferred price point and so far so good. The one difference with these is that the entire piece is molded and does not require the silicone ear bud adapters. They feel higher quality but time will tell. EDIT: Well, after 4-6 months, both pair of earbuds had one earbud stop working (and not charge). So I continue to look for budget earbuds.     • Great Value! Great Buy! Save over $100 vs Apple's Earpods for the same experience
I bought a pair of these for myself and liked them so much, I bought 4 more sets for Christmas presents . I have tried Apple Earpods and I have to say, save your money and roll with these from TCL. The differences are insignificant and you can save yourself over $100. You learn very quickly that you are paying for that Apple logo when you try these and compare the price. TCL was running a 30% off coupon soI bought 5 pairs of the TCL EARBUDS for pretty much the same price as the camparable earbud version from Apple. That is mindblowing! ... show more
