My mother recently moved in with us, she is a very heavy smoker... and refuses to go outside to do it, desperate trying to find the best air purifier I could find.. I ultimately decided on this one, because of his great reviews.. Overall I am very happy with this purchase, I find it’s totally worth the price tag.. it does a terrific job at clearing up the cigarette smell.. before owning it the smell radiated the whole house, my kids were going to school smelling like it and All. I placed this purifier in the hallway outside of her room, and it has completely alleviated the problem.. It’s also extremely quiet as well! The filter itself lasts quite some time, this machine has filtered out of very good amount of smoke over the past 3 weeks .. my mother smoke 5 packs a day, and The filter is still going strong . The replacement is very easy to find and also extremely easy to replace.. when the time does come. it’s also helped tremendously with dust, this has been a problem in my older home for quite some time, I am considering purchasing another one for the first floor just for this problem. The colorful lights are an added bonus really cool and create a peaceful mood.. This air purifier, is an amazing machine! Totally worth the price! Highly recommended ... show more

I have a pellet stove and at times when it starts up, some odors will come into my house. I bought this to clear the air for dog dander and the odors from the pellet stove. It works wonderfully for that however, it is a little bit loud. I bought one for my granddaughter as well and she loves it. It helps her sleep. I just have to turn the volume up on the TV a little bit more because of the fan sound from the purifier. I love the lights. Are usually keep it on one instead of having the lights change. The media could not be loaded. Bigger than I thought for this price which was nice. When using high speed, it does give off "white noise" but its not too loud and not irritating. The ambient RGB lighting was a nice touch. I have a 700sqft apartment and the whole place cleaned and refreshed in less than an hour. We have 5 animals; 2 dogs, 2 cats and a gecko and I can even notice a difference in them. No sneezing, less itchy, no rashy red irritation from allergens outside. House also smells so nice. Jusy clean. No odors. And we have litter boxes.... Im impressed. ... show more

I suffer from horrible year round allergies. I purchased this hoping it will help aid my poor nose. It’s an extremely easy set up, it’s very quiet on the highest setting and it’s so pretty and easy on the eye with the beautiful colors that circulate through the entire time on. There is an option for you to not have the colors on tho if you don’t want them. I’m very impressed with the product and how affordable it was! I so hope my allergies will be non existent soon in my room lol. If this does well, I will buy one for every room in my house lol. ... show more

I purchased this on special...couldn't resist the price, so I figured "why not". I just plugged it in yesterday for the first time, and honestly, within a few hours, I could definitely tell the difference in the air quality. I have pets, dogs and cats! I also have asthma and allergies to just about everything! I usually get pretty congested in my lungs, and do a lot of coughing, plus do nebulizer breathing treatments often, but since this has been running and cleaning the air, I've felt that I'm breathing much better, and my cough is almost nonexistent. This is just in one day! Yes, I'm very satisfied with my purchase. It's very easy to set up and use. Nice and quiet. If you put it on the sleep mode, you can't even hear it! First, the good: This purifier does an outstanding job of clearing pollutants from the air, and quickly, too. We first tried it in the master bedroom, and the following day moved it to the much larger family room to see how it did there. In both instances, it did a great job of filtering the air in a very short time. As for the bad, the purifier developed an almost imperceptible whine at the lower speed settings after about a week of use. We asked Amazon to replace the unit, which they did, but the replacement unit did exactly the same thing. Even so, we opted to keep the unit because it does such an outstanding job. It's a very high quality item, nothing flimsy or cheap about it at all. Hopefully the whine won't get any worse -- if it does, we'll update the review. ... show more
