The media could not be loaded. I own several mechanical automatic watches. Names that are familiar to persons who follow or collect watches but may be known to the average person. More importantly, these watches are generally made with Chinese or Japanese movements and assembled in numerous countries. As you collect watches, you learn about the Swiss made watches and the precision they add to a watch. More substantially, there is the cost associated with that precision, generally starting at two thousand dollars and going up from there. When you see a watch with a Swiss mechanical movement is for sale, you expect it to be expensive. Amazon presents the Stuhrling Original Men’s Swiss Automatic at an extremely reasonable price. The finish of the watch is smooth and elegant. IT fits wonderfully around your wrist. Though thicker than an average watch, this is supported by its 200 meter water resistance. I will never wear it that deep, but it is a testament to the quality of the watch maker. The photos I took do little justice to the look and feel of the watch. I am giving this item 5 stars because I have saw reviews that seemed to think the item was a fraud. I believe it is the real thing, An automatic mechanism swiss made. The front watch face says it is a swiss movement and the back internal mechanism says 18 jewels and swiss made. Either this is a very good fake or the real thing. The watch came in factory packaging wrap and double wrapped. The packaging and paperwork all look real. It is an excellent copy of a Rolex . A very nice watch for the price. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I only wear the watch on my days off or when I go out. I've received alot of compliments. I also recommend a watch winder if you don't wear the watch every day. Beautiful simple swiss time piece. Would buy again.

The watch is very good quality. However, the seller’s pricing needs an integrity check. They claimed the original price was $1995.00 and when I bought mine it was on sale for an amazing 89% off. Well something tickled my spidy senses. Why would they have 2 versions of the same watch but only 1 sale. So I went on the Stuhrling website to see what they sell this watch for lo and behold it’s priced at $615 regular price. I will not support stores that attempt to rip off customers. Got this on sale here for under 2 bills. It was a gift to my son as he wanted a mechanical watch (first watch) and didn’t want to spend too much not knowing if he would like wearing one on a regular basis. Anyhow he loved it and it keeps time to 10 seconds a day. Not bad at this price point. I’ve paid more for worse. I have a time grapher and can regulate most my watches to a second or two a week usually. I’ve offered to regulate his if he can part with it for a week to give me time to tweak it several times to get it better. ... show more
