I’ve owned my share of chorus pedals. This one is simple and easy to use. But the clincher is that it sounds great—nice, deep, lush chorus if and when you want it. My only gripe with this pedal is that it’s so big, taking up a big space on my pedalboard (hence 4 stars).     • Decent Chorus pedal, not for gigging though.
This pedal structurly is a tank, very solid construction. All metal, seems like it could hold up for awhile. It sounds pretty good for the price, my problem is the popping sound it makes when turning it on and off. And the switch to activate the effect has to be pushed, and then released, where as most pedals activate immediately upon pushing it. Those are my only two complaints about it, other than that it seems decent for using at home or jamming with friends, but I probably won't take it with me to a gig. ... show more

This unit has no 9V battery compartment and must be powered by a wall wart which is NOT included with the box. None of that info appears in the item description, but probably will after the seller reads this review. I plugged in a wall wart that I had laying around, but the unit would not produce its effect. Step on the switch once and you hear a clean guitar ... step on it a second time and you hear nothing -- the unit turns off. Great price, right? Just proves you get what you pay for. Not the best, but certainly worth the price. I wanted the SCF Gold, good luck finding one. Quite happy with my purchase though, does what it should, sounds great, Happy camper.
