Sounds and looks great
Color: Reverb
Does exactly what a reveb should and does it very well for the price. Great build quality and love the controls. Definitely buying more of this series of pedals to play with.

A fresh new look and an impressive sound!
Color: Reverb
This pedal caught my eye because of how unique it's visual design was. Not a whole lot of pedals (other than eqs) with sliders, and no other brand I can think of illuminating when powered on like this! I took a chance on the reverb without hearing any demos, and I'm glad I did! It's hard for me to pinpoint exactly what type of reverb they were aiming for, but to me it feels like a classic tube amp reverb. Mix doesn't go full wet but it can bring the reverb up to an a little beyond the guitar level. Decay is the length of the reverb, and dwell seems to affect how full (and feedback prone) the reverb gets. My sweet spot was the dwell maxed and the mix and decay just past noon. Not quite a drippy spring, but it has a bounce to it. it can get loud, it can get feedback-y in the best way possible. It works well with overdrive/distortion, and I really liked it in front of my amp sim so it could push the drive even further! I just got this yesterday and look forward to playing it more. I'm posting a small clip and unboxing for now! Overall, I'm thrilled with the quality of the build and happy that the reverb tones match up with the eye catching style! ... show more

Decent pedal but the foot switch is disappointing
The Bottom Line: Good reverb pedal, but the foot switch is lacking. I would call it 3.5 stars but giving it 4 as the half is unavailable and it is closer to 4 than 3. What I Like: This product arrived well packaged and in good condition. The housing is of reasonable quality, not what I would call premium but good. The potentiometers and slider are excellent, no grit and are responsive and satisfying to use. There is an attractive LED accent when the pedal is active and the reverb is of a quality matching most products I have used. The pedal comes with a 3” jumper cable, which is also nice. What to Consider: Like most pedals, this requires 9v power but there is no power supply provided and, of note, there is no 9v battery support. I had to purchase a power supply in order to review this product. Also, there are rubber feet supplied with the pedal, but they are not applied to the pedal–so if you want that, you will need to apply them yourself. Admittedly, I do not have an extensive array of pedals, so perhaps this is common, but the line in and out uses a triangle marker to delineate the in/out and they are pointed in directions that are not intuitive to me (in fact they were exactly opposite what I would expect). The Weakness: The main weakness on this pedal is the foot switch itself. While it is perfectly functional, it is just about the worst switch I have used. The button has no progressive spring action, rather it is basically no action until the very bottom where there is a marked snap action rather than a click action that I am accustomed to. This could lead to non-actuation in some circumstances if the button is not pressed sufficiently hard. Additionally, it brings into question durability and longevity for the switch. Overall: Without commenting specifically on the style and quality of the reverb–a feature that is highly subjective and preferential, the pedal purports to achieve a premium quality, but misses the mark specifically on the foot switch. Some may find that trivial, but it is the most disappointing part of the product and I strongly recommend the manufacturer upgrade to a better switch in order to bring the product into that more premium quality alignment. ... show more

Overall, very impressed.
Color: Grey
I really like this EQ. For $60, the quality is very good. This is a solid pedal and I like the gain feature. The sliders feel smooth and there is no added noise to my signal when it’s engaged (I’m using a Quilter Aviator 8 and running it through the effects loop). Overall I’m very impressed with this unit. The neon light doesn’t bother me at all and I find it less irritating than the blinding led lights used on so many newer pedals. Over all, very pleased. I also bought their compressor pedal which is equally impressive. I may have to buy some of their other offerings! I wish they offered a delay pedal in this series but maybe it’s still in development. ... show more

Impressed by quality, especially the packaging!
Color: Reverb
I don't know what circuit they put in this pedal, but it sounds absolutely fine and gives me the ambience I was looking for in a reverb pedal. I noticed no unwanted noise coming from the pedal and it definitely is a step up from another lower priced spring reverb simulator I had on my board. The unit itself has a nice heft and seems well put together. The packaging alone is worth a five-star review. This unit comes double boxed with nice foam padding in the inner box. It also came with what looks like a very nice quality patch cable, which was a bonus I did not expect. I purchased this reverb unit while it was on a limited time sale to give it a try. I now have no reservations about trying another of this company's pedal offerings in the future. ... show more

Budget friendly Flanger with decent sound but not without some quirks
Color: Purple
As a musician who has been playing for over 30 years, I've been through my fair share of effects pedals. Recently I have been looking to downsize from a massive multi-effects processor to a handful of dedicated, smaller pedals for more intimate crowds when I was given a chance to try out this AKLOT brand flanger stomp box. Overall, this is a bit of a mixed bag of results for me. First off, there is no ability to use 9V batteries with this pedal. No matter what, you'll need a 9V adapter. Luckily for testing purposes I had one but even then plugging it in the first time resulted in no power. I had to fiddle a couple of times before it finally started working. When it did start working, my first impression was that there was hardly any flange present, even with the width, speed and regen settings at 50%. I played around with the settings and after nearly maxing out the width and regen, it started to get more of that classic flange. However, after turning the unit to clean for a second, turning it back on resulted in this MASSIVE, overpowering flange sweep that did not sound good at all. I had to dial down the settings again which left the flange with less presence but eliminated the massive sweep between turning the unit on and off. While the pedal looks great, is budget-friendly, and has a passable flange sound, I honestly don't feel confident I will be sticking with this pedal. Sometimes I like having a highly present, consistent sweep going on. But if I am going to get an overpowering (and not particularly good sounding) sweep whenever I turn this on with the flange settings high enough to get that present sound, I don't think I can depend on this for the purpose I got it. If you're looking for a budget friendly flanger, it's an okay option. But unless you are only looking to keep the settings at a moderate level, you may not find the reliability in consistent tone you'd get from bigger name brands. ... show more
