  • The best chorus pedal I've used
Style: Julia Pattern Name: Pedal
This is hands' down the best chorus pedal I've used. Yes, it can do the typical BOSS chorus, and it can get pretty close to a Small Clone. But those guys always announce themselves ... they say, "Hello, you're using chorus now." Most simple pedals' 'subtle' sound is just the same thing turned down so far you can hardly hear it, and a lot of other pedals that are tweakable enough to get a few different great subtle sounds are annoyingly complicated. Julia has a couple massive advantages over every other chorus pedal I've played - you have funky, genius knobs like lag and blend, which can give you a wider variety of sounds that you can use, while still being squarely in chorus territory, and not off in tweaker land. I've played 'more advanced' chorus pedals that let me dial things in super-specifically, but then I had to play around with some of my OTHER pedals to make that work. Once you've got Julia set, the only issues you'll ever have changing settings is if you're using another modulation or timing-based effect, and you're out of sync. The other thing she's got that I don't think people pay enough attention to outside of OD pedals is that it's just an amazingly pure-sounding circuit. No matter what else I have going on in my chain and which amp, there's absolutely nothing that this adds or removes from my signal other than its intended effect. A lot of modulation pedals loose a little high and low, and they cover that up by doing a little in-pedal EQ. With Julia, I do get more treble and bass in the peaks and valleys as the effect is working; but in the middle, or with the depth knob turned down, my tone is exactly the same as before I click the pedal on. Again - nothing changes. If you like your signal before Julia, you'll like it after - you don't have to go through and program a new amp setting to work better with your chorus. She's also got an unadvertised party trick: if you hold the switch down, it'll turn on for as long as you're holding it. Let go, it goes off. So you can play a line clean, then one with chorus. Then a few fills, then some chorused chords, then some more clean lines ... I was never a chorus guy, but I needed one for a project. I watched a lot of videos, tried a bunch in store, and bought this one honestly thinking it might go back. But now it's one of my favorite pedals. I guess I just never used something so transparent and subtle before. I also don't normally rant so much about product. Trust me, it's that good. ... show more

  • Great Pedal
Style: Julianna Pattern Name: Pedal
Looks beautiful, and has a lot of functions that I am still exploring, I use it with a blues boss pedal and a loop pedal to record chorus and blues on low gain (used a bit like a preamp kinda thing) on low volume in a gretsch 5655tg and then increase the gain on the blues to solo on top of the chorus, love the groove so far ... show more

  • Best chorus pedal ever, and worth every penny!
Style: Julia Pattern Name: Pedal
I’ve been playing for 27 years, and in that time I’ve own several chorus pedals. I’ve never owned one until now that I absolutely love 100%. My search is over. This is the best chorus and worth every penny. If you’re looking for a great chorus, then this is the chorus to purchase. Don’t buy something cheaper if you’re considering this pedal. It’s a waste of money. Save up for this pedal and you will be very happy. ... show more

  • Can't stop staring at Julia...
Style: Julia Pattern Name: Pedal
A versatile glorious sounding chorus. I can understand why this pedal is so popular, it just sounds excellent. The tweak factor is very high and that lag knob is the bomb! Dialing in chorus with a bit of vibrato creates beautiful movement in the tone...

  • Very versatile Chorus pedal
Style: Julia Pattern Name: Pedal
I shopped around for a few weeks before settling on this pedal, and I'm very pleased with this purchase. I use it with a Yamaha electric cello. For me, with this instrument, the ability to be subtle with an effect is very important. With the Julia I can add just a hint of an extreme effect, or really emphasize a softer effect and everything in between. The Lag knob and the dry to wet knob enables you to experiment with a wide range of really lush sounds. I highly recommend this pedal. ... show more

Dang i love this thing. So many options. Easily my favorite pedal. From the aesthetic to the sound features itself. This pedal sounds so pretty. Recommend checking any YouTube demos for the extras on what it does. Totally worth it.

  • Design is great, sound is great, perfect purchase.
Style: Julianna Pattern Name: Pedal
Best chorus pedal I’ve played. The expression input and options make it very useful. Remember to read the instructions for how to configure. There are dip switches inside the case that need to be switched to the correct setting. Sounds amazing, looks amazing, solid purchase.

  • Great sounding pedal
Style: Julia Pattern Name: Pedal
I use this as an always-on way to add some dimension to my sound - really slow and really shallow. It adds just the right amount of weight and sparkle.
