  • Taylor Guitars are high quality.
I felt that buying a Taylor over the internet would be a safe bet. My other Taylors had thread tight growth rings on the top face. Strangely, the one I ordered came with 1/4 inch thick growth rings. Obviously the sitka spruce tree had some fast growth. I cannot say if it affected sound quality because I returned the guitar without giving it a good test play. The action at the 12th fret was ~0.5mm too high & The relief seemed to me to be too low. I did not measure the relief with a gauge. Compared to a Guild guitar I own, it was low. The pick guard did have some skids on it, which made me think it had been played & returned once before. I felt the factory set-up could have been better. I still have total faith in Taylor guitars, but this particular one did not seem to be up to their exacting standards. That's why I returned it. • Great Guitar and Great Seller
Top quality guitar for the money. Being a Taylor, the quality is top notch. At the price point, I wouldn't say this is a "begginer" guitar; this is, however, an excellent choice for enthusiasts who want a quality guitar without breaking the bank. I'd like to say that Alamo Music is fast at communicating and a great seller. ... show more

  • A high end playing guitar at an affordable price!
This Taylor 110e series has is made with quality, high-end, craftsmanship and sounds amazing. A high-end instrument at an affordable price. I played quite a few expensive top of the line guitars before deciding on this Taylor model. The brightness and resonance are obvious and the quality of the wood of the structure is beautiful. It's design is comfortable and easy to play. Low action, quality hardware, and built by Taylor, one of the most reputable guitar manufacturers in the world. I've had mine for over four years and I love it. I very rarely have to tune it when I take it out of the case. One thing that I would recommend is to purchase a hard case for your investment. The gig bag is nice but you don't want to chance getting it knock around and damaged when transporting it. I highly recommend this guitar for beginner's and seasoned player's, alike. ... show more

  • Best 600 you'll spend
I have several dreadnoughts. One has solid mahogany back sides and top. The 110e has layered or laminated sides and back. Solid top. The 110e has incredible sound quality for a thinner dread then my Epi DR500mce, but basically the same body shape. Shoulders are much softer. Excellent attention to construction detail. Did not purchase from Amazon. Listen before you buy. ... show more
