The fence is made with sturdy materials and looks durable. We have used it inside and outside. My only issue is that the links for each panel are not all the way foldable for easy transport and it separates easily. It’s best to put it together where you’ll use it and won’t move it much.

Ordered it t for my puppies. Worked so well and was so easy to move I ordered a second one and fenced off one side of my house. On mowing day I move it back against the outside fence, rakes only a couple of minutes. Love it and my dogs do too,

I have a Golden Shepherd (94 lbs) that recently got knee surgery. I have another 2 big dogs, all very active, and also I live in a 2 story house, so I really, really needed to limit her activity. I bought this pen afraid that it may be too small for my dog (I almost got the 24 panels version) mine is 16. It turns out it was too big. When the surgeon saw the pictures recommended to reduce the space and that is exactly what I did. I love the flexibility. In my case it worked perfectly. If your dog is well tempered and calm as mine, I recommend it 100%. If not, be aware…the pins that hold the panels together are not sturdy so they may bend easily if a big dog tries to escape. ... show more

I purchased the eight panel and I should have got the 16. It didn't give much space. I like the height. My dog tends to rush out the door and this keeps him from running off. I wish the locking mechanism was a little stronger it seems flimsy. Also the poles that go into the ground bend easily. I wish they were stronger. I also wish when the gate opens it was wider and you didn't have to step over. I think it's a fall risk. If I'm carrying something I have to turn sideways or set it over the fence and then come through the gate. I think your dog would need to be able to step or jump over that part and not be too wide. Fortunately mine is not. I am concerned about when he gets older though. Since I didn't want to connect it completely an extra pole would have been nice. For the reasons mentioned I gave it three stars instead of five. ... show more
