This protector is outstanding. Although it does not stop the water from coming in, it doesn’t matter the iWatch is waterproof anyway. But what it certainly does is to protect your watch from scratches and breaking. And that is the whole purpose of this protector. I really like how well these fit on my watch, hiding the original silver casing, and don't at all appear to be an add-on. You can also very clearly see the watch face and touch screen functionality is not affected. I have to remove the cover to clean it more than I'd like and I've also discovered if you get your watch wet even a little you'll have to remove it and let it dry before re-installing.

I've gone through maybe half a dozen apple watch cases. This is the one I like best so far, so I think it's worth a thorough review, even though it's an inexpensive item. It looks pretty good and seems to work at least as well as the others I've had, if not better. I got the "waterproof" model, and I haven't yet verified that particular functionality, but I prefer the look over the others because it covers more of the watch, so you don't see as much of a contrast if the watch is a different color from the case. The glass screen cover seems extremely responsive. No errors or failures so far. The external button covering the side button works well enough. On my 8 model, the standard button is really hard to use, because it's flush with the watch case, and difficult to press hard enough. With this case, I can apply more pressure and get a more predictable response. It's not perfect, but it's an improvement. Might be better if it was a little more prominent. The crown loses a little of its functionality, because it's more difficult to grasp it and turn it with the case on. But I rarely did that when I didn't have a protective case. The case was easy to install, just as shown in the video. Of course, the case adds some bulk which makes the watch look a little more clunky, but it's not too bad, and definitely worth the compromise to me. I had some minor cosmetic damage on the watch due to problems removing it from other cases, and now that is covered up by the new case. So my watch looks essentially new again. Time will tell whether this case will continue to feel like a 5 star item, but for now, it seems to be an unusually well-made and affordable bit of tech.

Protects the face of the watch. Biggest issue is that sweat accumulates under the watch guard which then doesn’t allow you to use the watch when working out. That is unfortunate when you are trying to track or time accurately.
