This frame is strong, lightweight, and fairly easy to assemble. You will likely want a second set of hands when putting it together as you will need tension on more than one point during a couple of steps.

I purchased a box spring from Ashley Furniture for $500 and it was a huge POS 💩. I'm still battling their customer service reps in the Philippines for my refund. I found this one for a fraction of the price and it fits fantastic and is very strong. It's best if you have 2 ppl to assemble and a drill with an Allen wrench bit. Lightly tighten all the screws and then tightening them all at once. I did the outside corners first and it worked well. It also was delivered a day earlier which was great for me since my mattress came the same day.

....one of the main frame rails was to long at the connecting center area. I had to cut 8" off top and bottom and re-drill bolt holes. Also, some of the cross beams did not line up evenly and had to be hammered down in place. I made it work only because I didn't want to re-pack and ship it back. A 1/2 hour assembly job took 21/2 hours....
