We grow squash in our garden. We put a spoon of mashed squash on our dog's food. So when the squash is ready to harvest, we have an overabundance. So I cook and mash them, then put the mashed squash in these containers to freeze. Now I have a stash that will last me all winter. I just take out a container and put it in the fridge a day or so before needed and it is thawed out. These aren't really sturdy and won't last forever, but they work well for our use. Froze blueberries this past year for winter. These containers were perfect! Held 4 cups of clean blueberries - just enough for a homemade pie. These same containers would be useful for soups, fruits, etc. Highly recommend!

These to go containers are perfect for microwaving things and storing things even in the freezer (not sure about long term there). So far there spill proof in terms of carrying from the counter to the table. I wouldn’t throw this in my bag though haha.
