I didn't want to take away 5 star rating because I was excited to receive these products and it is perfect for some pets, NOT ALL (read) It's not as convenient as a pop up kennel, yet more sturdy. Assembly & disassembly is easy. Storage is compact. I loved setting it up and provided the space I needed This is best for TRAINED and CALM small pets. This is not for all pets & NOT for distressed or sick animals. I bought a large and a medium. The medium was missing a clasp, planned on exchanging for new one. The large was perfectly in tact. I planned on getting two more for pet quarantine purposes. Sadly, I'm returning both due to this main issue: one pet did escape in minutes through a mesh seam of the large size. The mesh was separated at the seam, I assume as the pet pushed and scraped or weak attachment. I say this because I watched my other pet push its entire weight on a mesh window in the medium size, used claws & it didn't budge. Notice in the picture, the cat is on the wrong side of the pen! 😆 🤣 I'm filled with disappointment because this is perfect in every other way. There's space for pet to stretch, relax, and contain food/water. It's portable. Not so great to clean, easy to hose it down or spray in a shower. I'm sad I have to return. I wanted this to work. So, I'll keep the 5 star rating, pending return. I like the product, it doesn't fit my needs. ... show more

I just received this this morning, put it together with ease. I like the fact that seems sturdier than others because of the poles you insert to sides.. this will be used for a small pug puppy while she is trained and if it holds up, after she is trained the door will be permanently up and this will be possibly be where she retreats to nap during daytime hours and sleep at night ... show more

I have a hard time believing this is made for a cat or dog (puppy or kitten) first let me start off with it’s very cute, had enough room for a little box and bowl, it’s very easy to assemble but that’s where the pro’s end for me…….Within 12 hours of receiving and assembly this playpen my 8 month old 8lbs kitten who wears nails caps was able to rip the mesh on the door with his teeth….. I hadn’t had this in my possession for 24hrs before he was able to easily rip the mesh I spent $33 just to have to look for another playpen I do not recommend using if you have active pets especially ones who are all teeth and claws ... show more

I don't see how a 10 pound dog would have any space to move around much. My schipperks are 10 to 14 pounds and one just gave birth seven weeks ago. The three pups have limited space and they are four pounds to really move around. I'm really disappointed as they play in a children's plastic pool in my home right now and have just learned to jump out and I hoped this would work until the pups are sold. As for my adult dogs - only one can sit in it and really doesn't have much room to move around. This would work great for ferrets, a rabbit or small cat. It is easy to assemble and to disassemble. It is light to carry. Those with motor homes will love this to take a small pet outside for fresh air. While this doesn't work for us and it is fairly well made, I can see so many others enjoying this and getting a lot of good use out of this. I do recommend spraying some waterproofing on the bottom though for urine and fecal matter to make cleaning easier. It would make it so easy to just spray clean after cleaning g out any mess and spraying some disinfectant. I really wanted to like this for our use and be able to use this but couldn't. I'm only taking one star off off because it can't suit my needs. EDIT - August 22, 2023 After having the pet playpen sit in my living room a few days I worked up the courage to take it down. Yes, I had to work up the courage. Pop ups are never easy for for someone like me due to my fibromyalgia and neuropathy. I had to literally stand on it and bend over to zip it up. My husband wanted to do it for me, however part of the review process I feel is I must complete the tasks first before he tries. It was a nightmare for me and it proved to be a challenge for him. He is a man who doesn't look at directions and of course tried without. I used them and found them rather rudimentary and a bit difficult to follow. When he finally looked at them he laughed and said color photos would have been nicer instead of silly drawings. I agree as well. ... show more

I got this to put my cats in while our house was being painted. Unfortunately, I was sent a small when I ordered a large to put their food and litter box in it. They were crammed in there and not too happy. It seems sturdy and was easy to put together but my cat ripped the mesh with one swipe. I will purchase another one for when we move. It is terrible way to hold dogs. Very unstable and easy to flip. Worst part is the quality. Dog was easily able to make holes in the netting and escape.

I purchased this because my cat is a rescue and he is still scared of us. We have noticed he loves to go under the bed to hide or any enclosed places. So when I saw this play pen I figured it would be perfect to make him feel more comfortable. And so be it he loves it. This play pen was bigger then I imagined and I was so happy about it. The assemble was pretty simple and I was able to set it up with in 5 mins. I like the handles it has on the sides to be able to carry the play pen every where we go.
