The description focuses exclusively of using this in a professional setting, in a salon or what have you, as opposed to in-home, personal use... but that's only at the top written description and in the headline, lower down they start talking about home use, which the description could be updated at any point but that's how it is as of today... you don't really know this is great fro home use until you get down in the body of the description, half way down the entire page, or until you read a few reviews... but yes, this is a great facial steamer device to use yourself, inside of your own home. Using during my pedicures. Quite happy with the light brightness. The steamer is very effective, going for 20 minutes at a time, twice , and using less than half the water.

Using for my esthetician room, the stand its self is a little brittle i’m just careful moving it. But nothing is broken it came in perfect condition. I think for the price it’s perfect. I would say the light part does not lock into place from putting it together so i would say that’s the only thing i’m struggling with is moving the light without it toppling over. ... show more

Very easy to assemble and functions beautifully. The magnifying lamp with its adjustable light brightness is top tier! The steam flows out in a steady stream and it’s not super hot steam that can be too much on some clients. The steam is perfect. This machine is durable and I love how I can make it taller or shorter. Very adjustable. The only downside is turning the steamers “neck” towards the client. It can be a little hard to turn but overall, it’s so worth the money! ... show more
