Not practical for salon use, the steam escapes the vented lid and causes condensation all my cabinets. It’s essentially a vaporizer - it boils water on the bottom and the steam comes out scalding. When you remove the lid you get burned from the scalding steam. If you have clients back to back there’s no good way to keep it going and keep the towels hot, the water on the bottom streams out and then it doesn’t heat up. Just buy a regular hot towel cabinet because once this is opened it can’t be returned. This is a total waste of money and now I have to buy a hot towel cabinet and a stuck with this junk.

As a massage therapist, you know a few absolutes about making sessions better /more special /more therapeutic, having hot towels on hand is one of those things . Its size makes it easier to pack and tote around for mobile massage . I agree with others who say you need to wet or dampen the towels first because if you just add a dry towel , you will get a steamed towel and that’s it , it won’t actually serve its purpose. But this little thing DOES heat up fiercely and quickly . Naturally, there are options that would work better but I wanted to stay around this $35-40 price point so I’m getting what I paid for . The lid is wonky and can be a pain , so if you’re someone who’s on the OCD side , stay away from this one , because after the first use , the lid isn’t going to perfectly seal/match up. Me ? I can let it go ,because again, I paid $35’, what do I expect? Ha ! If you’re just doing facials at home for fun , this is perfect. If your doing massages at Home , same thing . And if you’re like me and just starting professional mobile massage , still good for now until you can get your money up and get the “good ones “. Its color is adorable and its size highly portable . I recommend it but again, stay realistic in your expectations, considering the amount paid .

If you love skin care products as much as I do, you know a hot towel is a great way to open your pores, prior to beginning a multi-layered skin care regimen. This little towel warmer is ideal for the "home spa experience." It's not only really cute, it easily holds 6 facial clothes. It's easy to operate (one dial!). You can set the general temp/time and it heats up quickly. It comes with its own set of tongs to easily pluck your individual towel out of the steamer without burning your hands. So here you have a lovely pink color for your spa, great quality design, easy to use and contributes to your "me time" in a meaningful way. And you certainly cannot beat the price!
