Purchased tarp as a storage cover for a utility trailer. After adding several eye-bolt tie-downs to the trailer, i marked the appropriate places on the tarp, to add grommets, then it was off to the local saddlery shop to have some reinforcements sewn into the tarp. As I was installing my grommets, I noticed that the tarp’s heat welded hem was loose, for about 23 of the 26 feet of the perimeter. This siuation was remedied with my hot glue gun. DURABILITY: So far, this tarp has withstood a 3-day blizzard, 2 thunderstorms and several days where the eastern Montana breezes easily exceeded 50mph. Had I not added the extra grommets and tie-down points, I do not think the tarp would have fared as well as it has. YMMV

When I link on my order....it doesn't even pull up the product I actually ordered....it goes to an incorrect link that is a red one and not my chosen size. My concern was the absence of grommets on each 6 ft end....only on the corners. As such it makes tying it down questionable and I was looking to see my original description of the product, but it either is gone or out of stock permanently as there is no link to show it is even back-ordered. Further, the images in the description show reinforced grommets on the corners...they are not that way as delivered. This is the second time in 5 days amazon product arrived not as represented. Pain in the "you know what". Lots of Chinese crap in the market place on A. I guess you get what you pay for. I would pass on this one.

I bought this product thinking I was getting a good deal (quality product at a good price) I ended up getting just what I paid for. I have a number of grey tarps that are 10 mil - this one which is listed as being 13 mil is a lesser quality product. The finished length did not measure up. How do you cut a tarp at 16 feet, hem the ends with a 2 inch fold and only end up with 15 feet??? Also there aren't enough grommets. I have smaller tarps that have more grommets to tie/secure the tarp on items. I bought this tarp because the unique size was going to fit what I needed it for PERFECTLY - well that didn't work out as well as I expected due to a 16 foot long tarp finishing out at 15 feet. Nothing about this tarp ended up meeting my expectations. If it were not for the fact that I had already put it into place and it would be too much trouble to do it again - I would return it in a heartbeat. Major Disappointment!!!

I would not buy this product it is a big waste of money. I thought I was getting a good product but about a month in the Arizona sun destroyed. When it came time for the rain here it fell apart and my sandrail that it was covering started to get water on the motor. If you know anything about vehicles that is not a good thing. Before I bought this I had one from Harbor Freight that was a 9ML thickness and it lasted me for 2.5 years for $20. Now that was a good buy, not like this one for $34 and falls apart in about a month. When I took it trashed the Harbor Freight one it was still in one piece but this one was ripping and falling apart everywhere. If you want a good trap that is cheap and will put up with high heat go with something from Harbor Freight. You will get more bang for your buck.

I bought this tarp as a ground cloth for under my tent, so I don't plan to put any tension on it, but if I did, this would be a poor choice. As others have pointed out, the rope that lines the perimeter of the tarp doesn't connect at the corners, and doesn't even go under the black corner reinforcement piece, meaning that's the weakest point of the tarp! What a ridiculously bad design. Also, when received, the tarp smelled strongly of whatever brand of cigarettes the child laborers were smoking when they put this tarp together - I had to keep it in the garage until my first camping trip.

I used this last winter (4 months). It was then dried & stored all summer. I took it out to use it again and it has literally fallen. I put it on my spa cover anyhow and in 2 days it is now ripped. What a waste of money! I have very cheap tarps (from Job Lot) that have been used for years and are showing no damage. This purchase was made for the size and was a colossal costly mistake. A tarp should last more that a few months!

I used this as a bottom liner to a puppy play pen. Pee didn't leak through at all. It was easy to clean. The puppies managed to make a couple scratches on the tarp, but nothing that seemed to break through the water resistant barrier.
