Heavy tarp as described, and it's incredibly sturdy. However, the one I received wasn't cut square, and for some reason has an extra eyelet right next to a normal one. It's more of a trapezoid shape then an actual rectangle.

We got the load of sand and leveled it, placed the tarp over the sand. Then laid the foam cove inside the frame. And put our pool up. Through that whole process, it did not rip or seem thin to walk on. Not done with the pool areas, look. Just wanted to show what we used the tarp for. And it's been there a few weeks like I said. So far, so good.
