These tarps work for what I need them for. We have a deck with an overhang, I put these up in the winter to help block the wind (and snow) on our deck and patio door. They are a little noisy when the wind is wippin (which tends to be all the time in the country) but hardly noticeable in the house. Our patio door would frost up on the inside (I know, we need to replace the door) but these seem to keep the frost away and no more drafts from the door or freezing floor in front of it. Not sure how they work for other applications, I secure these with screws through the eyelets and put a zip tie around the screw and eyelets to keep it tight all winter. I do reinforce the corners with gorilla duct tape just to be sure it holds up all winter. It is nice they are clear, we can still see the driveway from the house.

The overall design is good and it's easy to see through it. Once mounted on our gazebo, the first windy day and the seam ripped on the side. I will be returning it for a replacement. I even has some 'wiggle room' when mounting in case it got windy but that didn't work.
