This is a very nice tarp. I like the silver instead of the classic blue. I feel like it help reflect heat away from us at our campsite. We put this tarp over our cooking area so we wouldn't have to stand in the sun to cook. We placed the silver side facing up toward the sun, and I swear it helped cool things off. It IS heavy duty thick and well sewn. The grommets are very secure.

This tarp is a good heavy-medium to heavy duty tarp. It should last a while. The grommets are reinforced with a solid piece of plastic edging. This is a good tarp for yardwork in my opinion. It will withstand some dragging across the lawn and driveway and makes for a good trailer cover. I did poke a stick though it right away, but the puncture did not spread and the rest of the tarp remained intact. The 6X8 is a nice managable size for most home-use needs. I'm happy with how this tarp has performed. Photos are when it was new. It's now a little more beat-up but still rock-solid.

This is an average tarp. Not realy heavy duty but not flimsy. The grommets worked well with our stakes and gave a good barrier between the ground and our tent. One side is silver and the other is dark green. The sizing is pretty accurate too. Works for what I needed it to.

Cover your assets with this big tarp! It has extra strong edges with grommets and corner strengtheners. It’s waterproof, tear-proof, and heavy duty, 10 mils thick. It has a green side and a silver side. Put this tarp on the ground for your tent, use it as a shade screen, or cover your belongings to protect them from rain. If you lay the tarp on the ground, it will keep the kids out of the dust. If you use it as a sun shade, the silver side will reflect the light. We used the 6x8-foot tarp and a couple of bungee cords to wrap up a bulky item to protect it from the sun, wind, and rain, while we have it stored it outside temporarily.

As far as 6'x8' tarps go, this is neither cheap nor the heaviest duty. This is an average tarp, making the price point suitable for the product. I used my phone's measurement app to show that it is 6' by 8', and it is a rough estimate because I measured without moving, so it was a little off but not shorter than the advertised size. It is thick enough not to be punctured by rocks or other usual objects that would puncture lower-quality tarps. One side is silver. The other side is green. The reinforced corners will work for hanging and should last through windy weather but should be taken down during abnormally high winds.

Was tired of the cheap thin tarps that would only last so long. This is the real deal- heavy duty, durable, and pure awesomeness! Pictured is it covering my riding mower, but I use these for so many things! They are perfect for mitigating damages to your home should that hopefully never happens, great to throw down in or on the truck bed, etc. holes for tieing down and very strong as well with metal rings. My favorite tarp!
