This is perfect for me. I'm small, so most backpacks look enormous on me. This is just right. Compact, doesn't take up a ton of room, holds a surprising amount. The only thing I would change is the storage. It has one small zippered pockets, and the rest are pretty big. This bag was just what I wanted in terms of size. Just enough room for my laptop and a few other essentials. Definitely not a roomy bag--I wish there was slightly more room in the main compartment to fit a book to read--but overall just what I wanted. Fast forward a month or so and I noticed the stitching was coming loose (as shown in the picture). I never stuffed the bag and it was used to transport my laptop to and from work--nothing unusual in my usage. I went to the Targus website to look up the warranty information for my backpack, but when I tried to register it the backpack was not listed. I was busy at work so it took me a couple of months to go back on the website (and I new the warranty was for 1 year). I found that you can chat with a customer service representative on the website, so I explained the problem. First of all they were very slow in typing back their responses--really annoying. They did agree to take the backpack back and issue me a refund. However, they want me to pay the shipping. Basically, I need to pay more money to have the warranty honored. I raised this issue and they said they'd get back to me (that was July 23rd) it's now July 30th and I have not heard back from them. Bottom line: 1. Really nice bag. Just know there's very little room for anything but a few essentials (charger...) 2. However, stitching was poorly done on the bag. 2. And, sadly, poor customer service. Hopefully someone at Targus is paying attention to these Amazon reviews and will remedy the situation. ... show more

This backpack is awesome. There is some space and tons of pockets for organization. Very comfortable to wear. Would highly recommend for anyone who carries their laptop with them often.
