The Taramps PRO 2.4 BT DSP is awesome. Simple as that. Installation was really easy with the included hardware. The app is super convenient. Only one input is necessary to get four outputs, eliminating the need and hassle of running multiple RCAs. The output features are amazing and digitally controlled via the app. The routing option allows you to select A, B, or A+B. The input and output parametric EQ adjusts the width of the boost from wide to narrow. The timing alignment can be adjusted for optimal sound imaging. The 15-band EQ is fully adjustable from -12 to +12 dB and has several presets.The crossovers can be precisely set down to the hertz and the desired slope for each output can be selected with ease. The phase shift can also be set for each output, 0 or 180 degrees. There is not only a master volume, but an adjustable volume for each output for ultimate flexibility. The sound quality is super clean. This product works amazing and is an amazing value. I will use it daily and recommend it to everyone, even those that didn’t know they needed it. ... show more

This review is coming from someone who doesn’t normally write reviews. As a person who appreciates good sound this thing is beyond what I was anticipating. First off I got an aftermarket head unit, one of those with Tesla style screen with barely any sound controls, left, right, front, back and EQ. Sub out didn’t even work. Put in all new door, front rear and sub with amp. Anyhow, sounded ok. I put this DSP between head unit and amp, RCA’s, super easy. Put all the info into Claude/google AI, all the part #’s and HZ ranges for all components. Asked it to give me all the cross over and setup info. Worked perfect. Sounds incredible. 10x better ... show more

    • Works excellent, very useful
First off I am not using this in an automotive environment as it is intended for. I was needing to be able to make fine adjustments for my gaming room sound system which consists of a 150" projector screen fed by a Xbox source > optical cable > FX Audio DAC-X6 > Pro 2.4 BT DSP > Yamaha RS-202 receiver > Cerwin Vega SL-12 tower speakers. I have never messed with a DSP and was looking into the Dayton 4x8 but the $200 + price tag steered me away. I got this DSP along with a 12v 2-amp power supply and some high quality RCA cables. The receiver has a very basic bass+treble settings but they were not centered in the right place nor did I have the ability to set a high-pass filter to protect my mains from infrasonics. I familiarized myself with the app in demo mode prior to its arrival as well as studied all of the settings and their purpose so I was able to get it up and running in about 10 minutes. Very satisfied with it so far, works perfectly and no noise or hums (i was prepared to run extra chassis and rca grounds between the amp/dac/dsp but was glad i didn't need to). The next upgrade will be switching out the Yamaha receiver for a Crown XLI 1500 pro amp since this DSP can be used as a pre-amp with volume control and I still have 2 channels left for integrating two powered subwoofers in the future. In an automotive application I would definitely step up to the 6+ channel units for a full system. ... show more

    • A Lot of Audio Control in a Small Box
I used this in a car audio setup and it gives you a surprising amount of control for the price. Being able to adjust the system with the DSP makes tuning everything much easier than trying to get it right with basic amplifier controls alone. It is compact, has plenty of adjustment, and has worked well in my setup. It takes a little playing around to get everything dialed in, but once you do it is a very useful piece of equipment. 4 stars. ... show more

Very good quality DSP for the price. Has a ton of features, and the usability of the TARAMPS DSP app is great! The app isn’t glitchy, and is super responsive when you make changes the any settings. Don’t knock it till you try it!

It only has 1 input left and right... I wish it had 2 so I could have my sub input as well and 4 outputs which is good and it seems pretty simple to use I might go back to the DS18 DSP4.8BTM
