My kids are obsessed with Minecraft, so this pixel art kit was an immediate hit. It’s a great creative break from the screen while still staying in that 8-bit world they love. The best part of this set is definitely the templates; we love the ones that line up perfectly under the pegboard, which makes it so easy for younger kids to learn the patterns without getting frustrated. It really helps them build confidence as they see the characters and tools come to life. The only "problem" is that because it's so much fun, it won't last long! With 800 beads, you’ll find that they disappear quickly if you have a couple of kids working on projects at the same time. Overall, this kit had everything we wanted and was a lot of fun for my Minecraft-loving child. The only downside was that we originally thought the beads would be separated based on the templates, but they weren’t. It made it a little difficult figuring out which colors went with each design since there didn’t seem to be much organization to the bead colors.
