🚀 Abunda's Overview

This is our summary and key points to consider based on customer reviews.

The motorbike in question has elicited a range of experiences from customers, with many finding it to be an exceptional value, particularly pleased with its affordability and performance, despite some reporting initial setup and mechanical issues. Positive testimonies highlight easy assembly for most, enjoyable riding experience, and the bike's capability to handle hefty riders without difficulty. Nonetheless, concerns are raised about the need for adjustments and replacements out of the box, such as the carburetor and battery, and one vehemently negative review points to major performance issues and the hassle of self-troubleshooting.

  • 🛵 Excellent value for the price
  • 🔧 Relatively simple assembly process for many
  • 🚦 Fun to ride with a decent speed performance
  • 💪 Supports heavy weight without issues
  • 👁️‍🗨️ Attractive look and design

Cons

Should I Buy It?

If you're looking for a budget-friendly motorbike and are handy with tools or willing to put in some effort to fine-tune it, this scooter could be an enjoyable and functional purchase. However, if you are not mechanically inclined or would prefer a ride without the potential for initial fuss, you may want to consider other options. It's a good investment for those willing to address its quirks.

  • Absolutely amazing value on a great looking motor bike
I really can't rate the durability accurately at this time as I have only had these one month. I can tell you they were simple for me to put together and should be for most it may take some longer than others but the instructions were clear. I can also say they are a blast to drive where I live there are many roads in my area with slower speed limits. I am always looking for excuses to go for a ride. Everybody that has seen them is surprised by the value. I saw a 2012 Tao Tao just like this one that had been used every day to go to work it had over 15,000 miles on it when I was told how rough it had been treated for 7 years and it was still a daily driver that convinced me to buy. I also purchased the 3 year extended warranty. I love everything about this so far. I am a big man 280 pounds and have zero issues of any kind with this amazing product. An amazing VALUE that looks very nice! ... show more

  • WORST PRODUCT EVER PURCHASED!
I bought this "brand new" scooter as a college student thinking it was a good investment for cruising around campus to get to class and just simply riding around. When this scooter arrived it took 2-3 hours to assemble the frame of the scooter with no written or step-by-step instructions, just a 5-minute video with subtitles and no sound. Once everything was put together I tried to ride it and the scooter would bog out every 5-10 seconds and would not exceed a speed limit of above 10mph. I did about 8-10+ hours of research trying to fix this problem and one of the only helpful things I could find out was to change the oil. Apparently the scooter is shipped with "packers oil" which needs to be changed. Nowhere in the manual or anything mentioned this needed to be changed and my father who is a plant manager at an engineering company ships gearboxes every day for machinery that is never shipped with packers oil. Once I changed the oil it ran slightly more smoothly but still would not exceed a speed limit of 10mph or make it up any sort of slope without bogging out and eventually dying. I am still in the process of trying to figure out how to get the scooter to work properly and will take any suggestions that may help. Never purchase this product as it is marketed as a "BRAND NEW" product, but fails to reach the expectations of a consumer. If I could go back and "un-purchase" this product I would in a heartbeat but it has a strict no refund/ return policy which prohibits that action. NEVER PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT! as it is unreliable to a consumer trying to operate it and fails to meet the expectations of how it is marketed. ... show more

  • Mine was delivered by a full 18 wheeler so make sure they can get in and out easily. I live on a very large cul-de-sac
For the money, this is a really decent scooter. I couldn't ask for more. It shipped really quick and arrived via truck intact. Mine was delivered by a full 18 wheeler so make sure they can get in and out easily. I live on a very large cul-de-sac. I watched the series of several instructional videos on YouTube for this model. I did find a couple things to straighten out inside. Hoses weren't routed in the designated channel, a plastic lid here and a loose wire there, etc. I also got a new carburetor as one of the videos suggested because the stock one can't be completely adjusted. But I will let my daughter run it on the stock one through the summer and then tear the whole thing down when she goes to college. It will be new and improved when she comes home. Starting it was a breeze. Just get some gas in there and give it a few cranks and it will start up. Be sure to hold both brakes while pushing the starter. It may be a good idea to prime it using the kick starter first. I hope you enjoy this as much as my daughter does. ... show more

  • Terrific little motor scooter - the instructions, not so much.
Update 10/15/17 - I have had the carburetor replaced because the hoses manufactured in China break down with the ethanol fuels of the U.S., thereby gluing up and solidifying and destroying the carburetor. It sucks to have this expense pop up, but a simple addition to the gas tank each time you fill up (ask any mechanic) will eliminate the problem. The "instructions" don't say anything about it. But even with this, I'm very pleased with the bike. I have to admit, the five stars are for the scooter only. Be meticulous with your scooter In the form of maintenance - gas and oil and air and anything else you are supposed to be doing. It pays off in a LOT of fun. I should have nabbed one of them years ago! The downside is that the "owner's manual" provided with the scooter is bluntly a joke (to be gentle about it, it's a 3rd party translation). Any competent mechanic can put the bike together, and if you are using a professional mechanic, ask for a tutorial, and take notes! One last - this is not a good bike on dirt roads, it is definitely a paved road sort of vehicle (If you want it for dirt roads, be freaking careful - otherwise, get a dirtbike). Follow the rules and regulations, and have fun! ... show more

Nice scooter but fall apart in short time in one month my scooter have motor problem
Reviewed in the United States on December 2, 2015 by fedrick lyons

  • Fun but challenging
Positive: The scooter was delivered ahead of schedule. The packaging was OK, no major damages. The scooter started pretty easily. Negative: 1. The owner's manual was poorly written, very bad English. The DVD in the package can't be played in any device (DVD, Blue Ray, Computer). There is very little help in how to assemble the parts left for owner assembly. I relied on the Youtube videos heavily. 2. The worst problem is idle speed. It changes by itself from time to time. After consulting with my auto mechanic friend, the throttle cable was too lose and after the adjustment, the idle speed seems better. But it's still not very reliable. Sometimes it will run faster than normal, sometimes it will slow down by itself. On a bad day, it died when I stopped at the red light. I did a Google search, it seems that many people have the same issue and there are many confusing fix methods, some involve "valve adjustment", definitely not easy for a non-mechanic like me. 3. The gas cap is over the plastic tail light and the turn signal lights. When I tried to add gas the first time, a few drops of gas spilled onto the the lights and eroded the light housing right away. It took me a few hours to smooth the lights out and buffed them shiny again. A very painful experience with a brand new scooter. ... show more
