I was a little skeptical when I got this package since it was so small and light. The vacuum seal had this jacket sealed like a glove. Once I opened it up and shook it out it started to expand to full size and it truly is a nice product. The fit is a little small for me if I want to layer under it. If you want more room I would size up from your normal jacket size but with all that said I took my steam wand and ran it over the jacket, all the wrinkles and creases from the vacuum pack all came out and it fluffed up very nicely. It is very good looking plus it really is warm! Not sure how rain proof it is so i bought some rain proofing spray on for garments and did a few coats to see how well it does in the weather. I am sure in the snow it will be great. Very nice quality.

I was very apprehensive about what the quality of materials and manufacturing would be for this jacket and was pleasantly surprised that both appear very good. The outer material is matte (I ordered black), looks nice and reasonably thick. The stitching is strait and appears solid. The lining is a little cheap looking but for the price I'm not complaining. Overall it's quite thick (I actually hope it becomes less bulky as it is broken in) and very warm. It fits well (I'm medium build and ordered medium). The zippers and elastic around the cuffs seem very durable. It has survived a wash with flying colors. I especially like the look of the oversized buttons and goofy looking faux fur around the hood. The only thing that is a little weird is for some reason the label is in a plastic sleeve on the inner chest pocket instead of being stitched on... maybe it's not a genuine Tanming... whatever that would mean :P

I ordered the blue coat one size up from what I normally wear in a coat, and even then wound up having to send it back for a refund. I liked the coat, however, and put in an order for one the next size up from the first one. This one arrived this afternoon and fits perfectly. Not too snug or too large; just right. I like the material and the style, and even though I've only had it a short time, it certainly feels like it will be warm when the weather is cold outside. UPDATE: I bought this in March 2019 and it lasted five years. As of February 2024, it's now falling apart. The hood zipper won't stay zipped and I have to keep it on with a series of safety pins, and the stitching of both main pockets have started pulling apart. The hood did not cover my face as much as I hoped it would for a parka, but over the years it has been a good coat, keeping me nice and warm while out in the winter weather. For the price, it was a good coat for the time I had it. Now it's time to look for another coat, though I will probably look for one with a deeper parka hood.

This is a nice coat that I bought for my teen but definitely not good for wet weather. It does mention this in the description but wanted to reiterate for clarity. It will keep you warm on those dry cold days and is super comfortable. It comes vacuum sealed and is very wrinkled when you take it out of the package. There were instructions included with steps to safely fluff up the coat and it worked really well. Was a good purchase overall

What i like about this product, was that it fits me really well, i could still move around, i like how you have 2 options a zipper to zip it up or buttons, it came to mind that if the zipper breaks i will always have the buttons to button up vice versa, i love the fact you can detach the fur and the hood separately, for individual wash .that and you can creat 3 jackets with one . Jacket with fur and hood Jacket with no fur just hood Jacket no hood no fur What i didn't like about the jacket was the sleeve length it was 1inch longer than what i expected to be .. i bought a small .. but i fixed it by putting gloves on but in total this is a very stylish "PARKA" with a affordable price and btw, i wore this at -10 degree weather .. i didn't felt cold .. at all.. nor too hot .. it was just right!.

I bought this coat for my first winter in NY. It did a great job of keeping me warm. It seems like it will last a long time, as it has good quality material and stitching. I also like that the fur on the hood is detachable, since I didn't need it.

This coat fits "well" if you order an addition size up. I ordered a size up from prior reviews. The Jacket itself feels great and fits "alright" (As I have very broad shoulders) so it gets a little tight with range of motion. Since I have been heckled through email to write a review.... I will... I purchased this before winter season because I needed a new coat. It fits me, ordering one size up (I'm in that limbo of sizes between one size and another). What I was disappointed in was the quality of the faux fur, my fur was sewed into the stitches themselves. not noticeable to be scrutinized... but enough to make the whole look a little bit off. Not to mention there was one little section that literally had the faux fur just fall out. I am okay with the fit but not necessarily with the overall quality. I don't care enough to have sewn in faux fur be an issue. A coat should keep you warm and this does (at this time) since winter hasn't really upon my area at this time (Southern Ohio area 10/29/2019). This is an "good" purchase, not the "best" as far as my opinion goes. Questions that were asked from this review they asked me to fill out. (1 of 4): Jacket length. (2 of 4) Fit at chest, (3 of 4) fit at waist), (4 if 4) how does this product fit? (all of these based on 1 to 5 rated). The product review questions are based on "size and fit" not quality.
