I like this heater. I use it as a replacement heater in my large RV. It heats kitchen, bathroom and shower faucets. Can only use one at a time for consistent hot water to work. That's OK, since it is not really for muilti use hot water. The unit is mounted outside for ventilation purposes. I built a metal box around it. The only issue I had when staring to use it, was the on/off switch. I did not know exactly what it controlled. I emailed the company with my question about switch. I received a detailed response several days later, which cleared up my issue about switch. There is not anything in the manual about the on/off switch function. They should add that info to the manual.

This is the one you need. Works really great next to the other three brands I have bought from Amazon. The others struggle to get hot, this one gets to 120 deg F on the highest volume output for the water!

Tried several packs of batteries, twi different full tanks and our water pressure is 40 gps.. just wouldn’t light up & turn on. Company was responsive but kept asking obvious troubleshooting tips like turn it on.

I have purchased several of these heaters over the years. I believe this is number 4. We loose them because life happens and we don't get them in before they freeze. Anyway, this one didn't work upon arrival. It was like there was no battery in it. Really people, expect defects with low end products like this. Its a hassle, but no big deal--unless there is no support! I emailed the company and it took 20 days to receive a reply that was useless fluff to my detailed explanation of the issues. By that time I had already returned to Amazon and purchased a replacement, received said replacement, tested and installed, worked through a minor problem and had a functional shower finally! DO NOT PURCHASE GREATBEAR PRODUCTS. JUNK WITH NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!

First, the positives - the kit comes with everything you need, except for a propane tank, water with a pump, and 2D batteries. The unit is relatively lightweight and perfect for outdoor use, providing hot water efficiently. Additionally, the built-in safety features and auto fuel cut-off add peace of mind. However, I encountered a few issues. Initially, I struggled to understand the on/off switch's function, as it wasn't clearly stated in the manual. I reached out to the company's customer service, and they provided a detailed response after a few days. It would be helpful if they included this information in the manual. Unfortunately, some customers faced quality problems, like heaters not turning on or defects upon arrival. Although I've had a good experience so far, I'm worried about the reliability over time. Moreover, the use of large 2D batteries instead of a USB rechargeable igniter seems outdated and could use design improvement. Overall, it's a decent water heater for outdoor use, but be aware of potential quality issues. PROs 1. Kit comes with hoses and everything needed except: Propane tank, water w/ pump, and 2D batteries. 2. Unit is relatively light (not as light as tankless but light) 3. Great for outside usage for showering OUTDOORS by pool or camping with some HOT water. 4. CAUTION: Remove all water from hoses (use a spray) if not using often. 5. Quick and efficient to have HOT water available. CONs 1. Large 2D batteries instead of USB rechargeable Igniter to power ON. (Room for design improvement).
