We’ve been using this tankless propane water heater for a few weeks now, and it delivers hot water almost instantly, and is a huge upgrade from our old system. Its 2.11 GPM flow rate is impressive for something which is this compact, and the digital display is a great touch making it very easy for me to read and dial in the temperature as needed. The portability and versatility of its features is what that makes this water heater stand out with others. we used it and tested it both indoors during a home plumbing issue and outdoors while camping, and it performed flawlessly in both settings. The 8L capacity is perfect for showering on a cold camping day. it also got good safety set, which help with the water to not over heat so some piece of mind for when the kids are using it. We did also notice that the water temperature stays consistent, even when the water pressure fluctuates slightly. Using this as an outside shower in the pool area to rinse off. The water is up to temperature immediately and is very efficient as far as fuel use.

I never write reviews but this item is total junk. 81000 btu? I think they have the 8 and the one turned around. Directions are horrible. Knows installed in wrong location. Battery hold down was broken. It took 30 minutes to warm 5 gallons of water to 125 degrees. The gas adjustment know does nothing for the flame control. It seems like the flow control is restricted because my pump is noisy. Unhook the pump from the heater and my pump is nice and quiet. I used to have an Ecotemp L5 that heated water 10 times faster than this piece of garbage. Don't waste your time, energy or patience with this heater. Spend the money and buy something decent.

So far (a few weeks now) we love having this water heater hooked up for rinsing after the pool and hot tub. It has worked flawlessly and automatically turns on when I open the valve on the water supply (we t-ed off the garden hose). It gets hot super fast and actually gets hotter than I can handle. The heat is controlled by two aspects. The flow rate of the water and how much you turn the “heat”’dial (controlling how much gas to use). We used to have a really poor solar pool shower that was roughly the same cost and this option is leaps and bounds better. Will take some time to see how long the propane lasts. In the picture, the propane is inside the brown container so it’s out of site.

Been using this daily since I bought it around January 2025. It now the end of May. It wouldn’t stay lit so I changed out the D Batteries and it lit right up. You have to be careful of the controls because it can get way too hot really fast. I have a lot of water pressure and flow here and it gives me instant hot water. The only reason I’m giving it four stars is because you have to be careful of the adjustment. Other than that it works great.

tanked water heaters before and done a little bit of plumbing work and this was an easy install. I would say that the hardest part of the install was just figuring out how I was going to route the pipes solely based on personal preferences. I decided to go with and push-on connectors to keep things easy and tidy and all went pretty smooth. The unit is a nice color and seems to be sturdy. I have had it a few months now and have had no issues with it; the water has had no issues staying warm while multiple devices were using hot water.

Around a month after purchasing it began not igniting the flame. Changed battery and it continued working. 2 months after purchasing and it has completely stopped working. Return policy for the product is only a month and it is a waste of materials and time. Amazon gave me a refund, but manufacturers should not build such junk.
